I recently updated one of my listings for made to order digital art. All I changed was the price by 20p. Since then all of my orders have been going into the completed section and I can't update it or send the digital files to my customer anymore. They all have a little tag on them saying "not downloaded" but there isn't any files to download for my customer and I can no longer attach a file to their order. This will effect their ability to leave a review!!
The orders used to appear in new, and then when I had finished their art I would attach the files when I updated their order to completed. The only way I can send the files now it seems is by message!
@ChuckButtons : "All I changed was the price by 20p" I believe that there are a couple of other settings you have to change for this to work https://community.etsy.com/t5/Announcements/We-ve-improved-our-made-to-order-digital-listing-experie...
All of the settings were set as described here. Someone else mentioned that it's a bug and I'm hoping that their solution works!
@ChuckButtons When creating the listing, don't upload any file.
There isn't a file uploaded to it. I made this listing a couple years ago when there wasn't an option to have made to order so there originally was a file attached to it but there isn't one anymore
There appears to be a bug with this, possibly related to the new listing format.
Go in to edit the listings, switch to the old listing format, click physical, or change the date from made to order, then click it back to digital/made to order and then publish to get it to save as a made to order digital.
Thank you, I've tried this and will see if it works!
Just wondering, were you able to sort this problem out? I am now having exactly the same problem!
All of a sudden all my orders go immediately to completed and delivered..
I am also having this issue every two to three orders. There is no link to upload the file and the order automatically goes to completed. I've contacted ETSY about it several times and it is still happening. It seems to be a glitch - I hope they figure it out soon!
