Hello,
Yesterday, etsy removed one of my listing for violating Etsy's Creativity Standards. This listing was active from past 5 years and there isn't any changes made from my end as well and I've checked everything, there isn't any violation.
PLEASE HELP AS IT WAS WITH THE BESTSELLER TAG AND I USED TO GET 4-5 ORDERS EVERYDAY.

The bots probably found the images somewhere else.
Do a image search, file DCMAs to get stolen images taken down.
Contact Etsy and provide your findings on stolen images, your DCMAs and anything you have that demonstrates that the items are your own.
By the way, you note that the listing is 5 years old ... but it also has to be yours ... either made by or designed by you.
Also, I just took a look at your store. Great looking leather goods.
If the listing was for vintage, it has to be at least 20 years old.
I found the 'vintage Indian handicraft store' a bit confusing ... are the items hand crafted or are they vintage? Make sure that each listing is correct in terms of made by, designed by or vintage.
Is it the Buffalo leather one? I wonder if it had to do with the word buffalo.
@JackisJustVintage What is wrong with the word "buffalo"? I use it all the time.
@AAANativeArts I was just speculating. Animal word-related listings sometimes get taken down.
I don't know.
Since we don’t know what item was removed it would be impossible to guess why, but other items in your shop where you offer personalization are not in compliance with the new image requirements. Products offered with personalization cannot be shown as a blank product in the main image, you have to show a real example of what the personalization will look like. You don’t seem to have that even in secondary images.
You have really beautiful bags and tonnes of 5-star reviews, however, are your bags unique designs that are designed by you? This isn't clear: "We at WickedCityArt want to offer extravagant products and amazing deals". Also for your shop tagline, you currently have: "Vintage Indian Handicraft Store" however your items aren't vintage, they are "vintage style".
@WickedCityArt: It is almost impossible to speculate on why a particular listing was deactivated, but Etsy is cracking down on what they feel inappropriate. Reselling and copyright and trademark infringements is a always large factor, but it also seems that the bots are looking for trigger words with no consideration for context. Since Etsy is now also factoring descriptions in search, they along with titles, tags, and materials (and possibly even alt tags if you are using them) are all probably being checked. And the bots are also "reading" images. Plus we do not know what combination of possibly multiple factors constitute the trigger that flagged your listing.
"This listing was active from past 5 years and there isn't any changes made from my end as well and I've checked everything, there isn't any violation." But the rules have changed - what was okay yesterday may be a violation today. And as @TerrificTemplatesCo pointed out, at least some of your listings are violation of the Listing Image Requirements for personalized items https://www.etsy.com/legal/policy/listing-image-requirements/253962679005 which definitely counts as violating Etsy's Creativity Standards.
I know this isn't what you are going to want to hear but the leather journals are not handmade by you. I have several of them myself and unless you also sell in Sedona AZ, Tucson, AZ, Bisbee AZ and Aliexpress they aren't allowed. BTW, I paid less than 1/2 what you are charging.
That is probably why and also probably why more will follow.
Sorry.
Yes, my friend sells the EXACT same tree journals at medieval & renaissance events, comicons, etc. Like 80% of the items he sells, he admits these journals are made overseas.
My friend buys the journals from India, which is where the OP is situated. BUT the designs are unlikely to be the OP's own, if their production partner is selling the same pieces to plenty of other vendors around the world.
the removed item.
is available on walmart for $84.
same photos.
if those are your photos.
you need to have them removed.
here is the link.
here is the cached link to your removed listing.
I don't think Etsy would remove my listings image copied on other website. I'm not sure about it.
Yes, on Walmart, it's my store only.
@nineteen27 Thanks for the cached link you posted but it is dead
"Could not find the requested document in the cache."
The listings I looked at had a variation option of ''without engraving''. Since there's a question about whether you actually made the leather items, selling them 'as is' could be another reason for removal.
This could be your issue:
DHgate bags:
There are others that look similar but are not the exact same.
If DHgate Bags stole your image, you would need to file a DMCA for them to take it down.
I only looked at one listing, but your "Tree of Life" journals are sold all over the internet - exact same product design with the stone in the center.
The listing etsy removed from your shop is just the beginning. Etsy is for handmade by you (or designed by you and made with the help of a production partner that makes YOUR unique designs), vintage items, and craft supplies.
Hello,
The designs are meant to be copied once they're sold in millions. Some use low quality materials and some use high. Also, I cannot do a copyright on all my items as it would cost me much more than my costs.
