Hello, I have three listings that were deactivated by ETSY for some reason which I believe to be done by mistake but there is no feedback as to why they were taken down. I'd really like to get them back up if possible but not sure how to go about that, is there a process to go through for this?
Without more information, we can't help you. What were they? What words were you using in the tags/title? Was there any possibility of IP (trademark) infringement?
I believe there is a way to appeal, but I've never had this problem, so hopefully someone more knowledgeable will come along
Etsy is not normally specific,
but usually says if it's about....
breaching their creativity standards
or if it's about having to re-verify
or of the shop is putting etsy at risk
... there is normally some sort of clue,
How are you creating the images that are used in your products? Are they made with templates or stock images? If so, Etsy image bots may have flagged them as not being original.
I draw all of the images on my stickers by hand on my iPad with Procreate. I then send those images to StickerApp and they print and ship to me. I also draw the shirt designs the same way and those orders are fulfilled by Printful. All Images I use are original and there should never be any kind of copyright infringement in question.
you should be able to see the reason Etsy gives in red under the deactivated item, -which should be found in "inactive".
If you could tell us the reason, we can better assess the situation.
If it was copyright infringement, and you did infringe, you have to let go of the item and check your other items, if they are ok.
It it was "creativity standards", and you can evidence your work process, I'm sure a moderator can escalate your case to the team.
Perhaps@FabioMcMustache can help?
Good luck to you.
@TheShopFromTheBlock I am also in the same situation, I asked for help here and a moderator escalated it to the team but nothing yet. How long did it take to have it reinstated after it was escalated?
Unfortunately it is just the red line and nothing else listed. There should be no concern about copyright infringement, but I have the original design PSD files that I created in Procreate on my iPad for proof if necessary.
It's just weird because I have other items that were not taken down, so I am lost as to what to do.

This is normal for Etsy. The bots zero in on a few items, they don't take down every suspected violation.
I'm experiencing the same issue as you—my listings have also been taken down. These are wigs made by me and clearly marked as handmade in the core details. I took new photos over the weekend, watermarked with my name, and uploaded them on Monday, but they were deactivated again. There's nothing in my title or tags that suggests trademark infringement or copyright violation. Many other sellers are facing the same problem. I hope this gets resolved soon.
You have a game controller on one of your images and this is a good example of something that may be subject to copyright infringement. What was on the images that were deactivated by Etsy?
Yes, as well as at least one tag on that listing that is probably trademark infringement. OP- drawing your own images is a good start, but if you are using others' intellectual property in the images and the names of others' intellectual property in any place in your listing -- tags, title, description, etc-- you violate etsy policies.
