Downloading has sometimes been confusing for some new customers but the last few days has been an exception. I’ve now had a number of customers, including repeat customers that can’t download their digital file. The link they are sent doesn’t work and when they log in directly to their purchases through the website the purchase isn’t there. I’ve now had two who have sent me screenshots showing the purchase isn’t there. And both have made numerous digital purchases from Etsy in the past.
Is anyone else experiencing this? I don’t have time to take out of my day to continuously send out personalized emails to my customers. Not to mention the frustration and one star reviews because the system is glitching out.
One of the customers who couldn’t find the order, ordered the same file again. This time she could download it. I have no idea what’s going on right now.
Upon further questions, this customer has 2 accounts with different emails. She was in the wrong account. Good to know because I’ll definitely ask the next time there’s issues.
