This is what worked for me

From sell on Etsy app on Android

Select: settings

Select: your subscriptions

Tap menu lines upper left

Select: orders and shipping

Tap settings gear on right side

When prompted, open in Chrome (didn't work on Duck or Bing)

Create a new shipping profile, it should become available on the app.

@OwlhootWeaving  There are a number of threads reporting similar issues. The consensus in the forum threads seems to be to manage orders and messages via a browser not the app.

@OwlhootWeaving  Thanks for the tips, and the hilarious description of the app - which will soon be discontinued at the end of this year, I have heard.  I'm trying to use the new Seller app with the blue icon - but that has it's issues as well - for instance, no way to share on social media, for now.  Like most Etsy features, they'll keep changing it and fixing it, and driving us crazy.
