Need help etsy. I can't renew any of my listings today. I'm in Australia, internet connection is fine. Can't understand why I cannot renew. Thinking it is a glitch. I just get the red 'oh oh something went wrong' red banner message.
Me either! I'm in Florida, USA! I can't deactivate listings , I can't use the feature for the listings. Actually, I can't do anything this morning!
ETSY if you please!!
I'm having the same issue, and just reported it through the Etsy Help page: I am attempting to manually renew a listing that is set to expire today, but get the orange bar and "oh, oh ... something went wrong ... please try again error." I have tried to renew from both the listing page (by checking the box for the listing in question, and then the renew box), and while editing the listing itself (from the manage listing box).
I'm having the same issue, and just reported it through the Etsy Help page.
I found I can renew by opening the listing and hitting the renew button. Try that.
@Hertfordweaver I just experienced the same, and started a new post. People just don't read the comments to find a workaround.
Doesn't work for me.
I tried that, does not work. Have tried every way...no luck
@Hertfordweaver Great work around, thank you. This is going to be a slow process but at least I can get it to work for renewals for this morning. No miracle solutions yet for draft listings.
Always some kind of glitch on Etsy recently. It is getting tiresome.. Hope they get this fixed soon.
@SugarBakersBakery @mljcarman see @Hertfordweaver suggestion above - it works as a temporary solution until Etsy fixes the real issue
I cannot renew listings either! I am in the California. I have tried multiple browsers, and cleared all browser cache. No luck. Just the same red bar across the top of my screen with the error message "Uh oh! Something went wrong - please try again". To Think Etsy raised their fees and only to let their platform have even more errors and bugs than before. Not sure if they have the correct team or programmers currently...
@BrownEnterprisesUSA check the solution above from @Hertfordweaver
Thank you, That solution worked. I hope they fix the issue soon. I have over 100 expired listings.
My problem is not so much renewing the listings as is it with deactivating some listings that I have that are listed elsewhere. I have to constantly keep going back into my listings and either delete the ones that sold or add new ones. Just "cleaning" up the site is enough work, without ETSY preventing me from getting my work done on days that I have the time and patience to do it.
@vintagebyElaynna Ooo - I can see the need to deactivate items that sell on other sites!
The workaround for that is to view the listing page in your shop - on PC/laptop.
All the editing options are above the main picture, and work just fine.
I was able to test deactivate that way.
To re-activate, I needed to go to my Inactive listings, click to open/edit - then publish to reactivate.
I contacted Etsy. They are looking into the issue. I told my contact there were many other shops with the same problem. She said they'll look into it. Hopefully the glitches will be corrected soon.
Hi Linda,
May I ask how you contacted Etsy (Email, Chat, Phone) or other. Thank You.

I could not either, only from my iPad, but all seems to be working today!
I cannot renew on my pc, but still can reniew on mobile
I am in the USA. The problem started for me last night, July 8, 2022 and it continues this morning!
After seeing @AshayCrystals post, I had some hope and went back into the Listings Mgr. *Still getting the Uh Oh Banner (performed the same action which did work a few days ago. Selected listings and tried to put them on Manual Renewal).
(Same desktop computer, Chrome, Windows 10)
Same here. Can't renew and, worse, I can't publish listings that I had in draft either. Goodness sake...
Same here in California, since yesterday evening.
Same here. Can't renew, change prices, etc. The Etsy integration with a 3rd service doesn't work either.
Ok, same - I thought it was just me. Hope it get sorted out soon.
