I can not send pictures to my customer

Do you have the same problem about sending pictures to a customer?  Impossible for me to send any unfortunately it is probably a bug on Etsy...

I contacted Etsy support but they still haven't given me a solution。Just wait for me

Yes I did send a few messages back to her and she was waiting for the pictures

... or it's a new "feature" to protect sellers from rampant scammers.

Many scammers send photos of QR codes to begin the scam.

Use your customer's email address (from the order) instead.

It sounds like that's the intention but also sounds like the implementation isn't correct. 

If a person is already a buyer and they're having a conversation with the seller then Etsy shouldn't be blocking the images.

I lost attachment button on my laptop. I can only attach if I message from an order, but I get an error and cannot send it. I also get errors on the app on my phone when I attach and send

I just sent 4 pix to 2 customers and the pix went thru just fine. On my Apple device via Safari. One already just thanked me for the pix so I know they went thru ok.

I can not send pictures either - whether it is from an order or not or in an existing message thread. The attachment button is just gone! I need to send proofs for custom orders and images of the completed product. What a pain to have to use email and Etsy messages to get my job done.

I tried various browsers - no luck. The attach image icon is there when accessing messages directly through the order on the order page, but I get an error message when I try to send. If going directly through Messages, the icon isn't even there. 

EDIT: I emailed myself a proof image from my computer and was able to attach the photo to a message through the Etsy app so this must by a PC issue. However, when I went back to the PC, the message I sent with the image via the app does not appear but a short additional message without the photo does appear.

EDIT AGAIN: going back to the app, the photo and message that attached minutes ago has now vanished and is no longer visible on the Etsy app messages. This is sooo weird.

I've been having this problem for months. Ugh! Using the app, I get an error code. Online on my phone, there's no button to attach anything. Going to try my laptop this morning to see if that'll work

This is VERY concerning. We send proofs all day long attaching in etsy messages. This will really hurt our business if it is not fixed!

I was on Etsy chat this morning about this issue. They had me do all the usual things - browsers, update app, clear cache, etc. By the time I got my security code to re-log in, they had written back and said the are "escalating the issue" and would be email me with updates. They showed some random gmail email that is NOT my email and now aren't responding when I wrote back with my correct email so that is concerning, too! ugh. At least someone is apparently looking into it.

I did a chat with Etsy in the help center and they said they had not been notified of the problem and were unaware.  Please report this problem to Etsy via chat or phone call!!

You can't call Etsy.
Etsy does not have a phone # posted anywhere (nor an email address). Any phone # found on google/bing is a scam #.

I also sent this message and was unable to send photos to customers. Etsy customer service told me to re-download the app, but the icons for sending attachments on the web page disappeared.

Same problems recently - finally reduced size of pic I was trying to attach - & it went thru to customer (she sent a message back) - but on my end it just disappeared!
