I've spent the last 8 days going back and forth with Etsy support (via email) to get my shop's business information verified. This morning it was FINALLY verified and my shop was open, but less than an hour later it has been suspended again for the same reason! WHY?!?!! I've done absolutely everything right, all my information is correct and up to date, I've received at least 2 emails telling me my shop is verified and I'm up and running, but it is still showing suspended and purchases aren't being allowed. I don't understand this at all. The banner tells me to enter a valid taxpayer ID, but my valid taxpayer ID is already in there and all the documentation has already been sent in to Etsy. What can I do here?
Your shop is open.
I see you shop as open too.
Yes the shop is open but you have no payment options available. Check that your banking/credit card info is up to date.
Only Etsy can tell you why your payment options are not active.
Meanwhile, your shop is unfinished: no location, policies, and so on.
You listed your products as Handmade. Did you make them yourself? Or are they mass produced boxes and trays you personalize with a POD partner? If so, you must disclose it.
This is some helpful reading: https://www.etsy.com/legal/creativity/
If your products (boxes, trays) are not handmade, you cannot offer a blank option ("no name, blank box" or "blank dish, no name"). Reselling is not allowed on Etsy.
@DamaniGifts: Your shop appears to be open but missing payment options.
Your shop appears open but the payment methods (icons) are missing so you can't make any sales. I'm sorry - this often happens after a shop has been on forced vacation.
All I can suggest is to take a screen shot of your shop home page policies section (where the icons should be) and send it to Etsy support (shop manager > Help > Contact us)
Yes, my shop is currently unfinished because while it was suspended previously it wouldn't allow me to finish setting it up. I've been working on it today and continue to work on it. While the shop may appear "open", Etsy will not allow purchases to be made. Have you ever walked into a physical shop, looked around and picked out something to buy, but when you got to the register were told they couldn't sell anything to you??? Makes no sense. Banking info is correct and up to date, all business info is correct and verified.
