Forced Holiday Mode

Good day,

Etsy has put my shop into forced holiday mode. I received and paid for one order to be processed yesterday via Printify and I am out of pocket for that as Etsy has not paid me. My order is due to ship tomorrow, well in advance of the deadline. Etsy have not contacted me with any kind of explanation whatsoever. I am unable to take my shop out of holiday mode. I cannot get hold of Etsy to discuss this. Even when I am signed in I cannot chat to them. I cannot find an email address for them anywhere. I am utterly furious and desperate. Please help.

Check your email - Etsy most likely asked you to either upload your ID or verify your bank account.

Usually new shops are flagged after they start to sell due to them needing a copy of your ID. In your dashboard go to finances, then legal and tax information. It should tell you there what you are missing and you should be able to upload copies. I don't think it will reinstate you immediately as it needs to be reviewed and confirmed that it matches the information you entered, but from what I've seen it's usually cleared up within 48 hours.
