Etsy postage labels have changed?

• Some of us are finding that Etsy UK postage labels aren’t showing the return address and they now say ‘Paid and printed from Click and Drop’ rather than ‘From Etsy’ or whatever it was before. Wondering if someone from Etsy can tell us if this is intentional or a glitch? Also, they’re printing in a different format to previously.

I have encountered this also...labels printing today as normal then suddenly when i printed another 10mins later it had suddenly changed to how you have highlighted above

I also noticed this change, and I am just hoping that it won't affect the safe arrival. I also noticed that the customs form is different. I hope this is safe to use and my parcel will arrive without a glitch.

Customs form is more in line with what RM supplies if you buy direct from them.

I have had this change also. My local post office says for me not to have it say click and drop as they say they won’t be able to scan some labels. I don’t know how to remove/change this option back to how it was!

Funny thing is I have the problem when using Google or edge to print. With opera it does have this info…

Same.  It's okay for international because my name and address is automatically populated on the CN22.  Even the actual layout is different with it covering the whole of the 6x4 label whereas usually it has a little border and, yes, it no longer says Etsy on it.

mine has started adding the return address on again this afternoon which is good news..beats writing it on yourself.

I have just had an order sent to Belgium rejected by customs for not having the IOSS shared. I bought the label directly from Etsy as normal but instead of 'Paid and printed by Etsy' it said 'Paid and printed by Click & Drop' and the little IOSS icon was not on the label. There has to have been some kind of glitch in their system with this one. I can't give customs the IOSS retrospectively so the customer has the option to pay a huge customs fee and VAT again (nope!) or reject the parcel. I am beyond frustrated.

Same here for Germany. I ship there multiple times a month & have never had a VAT / customs issue there until this label change. Now 2 customers have been in touch in the last 10 days, informing me of unexpected (duplicate) VAT charges.

Etsy Support reassured me it was just coincidence that the first one happened just after the label change & that it was German customs' fault for charging buyer a second time. But now the second issue has arisen in such a short time, I'm not sure what to think.

The Etsy & IOSS logos disappeared from the labels, then the IOSS reappeared. According to Etsy Support, these changes are superficial & the info is still being transmitted electronically. Is it? Is it really?? 

To top off my confusion, one Post Office (where I drop for proof of postage receipts) told me I should be adding the new black IOSS label & writing the marketplace on it but my local PO were totally clueless. Hadn't even heard of them. Etsy wouldn't advise either. 

And RM won't advise on labels purchased through Etsy. Or at least the person I spoke to wouldn't.

Your post gives me comfort & concern in equal measures. Glad it's probably not something I've done wrong but worried for the broader implications if this is related to the new labelling or some other change, either at RM or Etsy.

Many EU orders in transit, several more in production. I wonder if buying labels directly through RM Click & Drop might be the way forward?

I've had an issue where this change means the labels don't fit on my label printer anymore. No matter what I do, the left margin is too far over and that's the anchor, so even if I custom shrink them or select "fit to page", the left margin stays where it is and gets cut off. Deeply annoying as I have to manually write the first letters down the left side of the address.

I had the same problem. Not sure what kind of printer you have but mine are thermal labels on a roll. Managed to nudge the roll to the left & secure to the spool with a (very technical) piece of blu tack XD It cuts off a tiny amount of printing on the right but nothing important & the address is fully legible. HTH

@MissKitschUK  Have you checked your shipping settings?  Settings > Shipping Settings > Shipping Label Options tab.

Mine now have my address on them etc and the CNN and everything is fine.  The only thing I can't do now is to download them as it says "unavailable on site".
