Hi, is Etsy chat working for you? Previously, when I wrote, at least the automated system said it would connect me with an agent, and now I don't get even that kind of response.
sometimes it takes a few minutes for an agent to join the call - how long have you waited?

I had to use it the other day and it worked? Are you getting the pop up message?
Like sometimes there were problems, but now even the machine didn't answer me, "they'll connect me with an agent" I write there to myself
I have the same problem and it has been like that since Nov 22nd.

I've had this happen. One of those times, a response came in after I had left the chat more than five hours later. It seemed to me like the option was left on even though the customer service group was temporarily unavailable. And there have been times the option to chat with a representative was not on. But it always comes back. They might be overwhelmed in the queue or not open during these times.
Thanks for the explanation, I understand that they may have a lot, but this never happened to me before the summer, until they turned on AI (I don't know if they decided to have fewer agents because they rely on AI). But the fact that there is no automated response and the choice of what I want to deal with at the moment, that hasn't happened yet.
@ArtCollectioVonErika I didn't have the above-mentioned problems until recently either. I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing it.
I'd assume today would be extra busy for this group with the GPSR legal deadline tomorrow, which hasn't been addressed by Etsy. Since this group is a contracted group of folks with limited Etsy resolving power, they won't be able to assist the many sellers needing help with international orders today. I suspect this will impact getting assistance at the moment even more than usual.
You're right, I'm sorry, but Etsy is going down the drain on all fronts. You can't get justice, they always say they'll fix it, but you never get a solution. When I look at how many people are planning to close their shop, it's for two reasons:
1, GPSR - because it's not ready for sellers from GB and NI (otherwise I don't know what it means for sellers from the US, probably the same)
2, The Christmas sales are the worst I've ever experienced and I made videos, new photos, added CEO descriptions for the blind, I don't know what else I could have done, and other sellers did the same thing, but with no or very poor results for sales.
