Etsy Search all incorrect

My views have been down massively the last few days.

Upon searching for my bestsellers i have found these are absolutely nowhere to be found in search.

I ranked top for several items in my etsy shop under several different searches for each item.

Now for example when i type in 'football water bottle' in search (i had a best seller in this search on page 1) i have got all the way to page 84 (the last page) My item is nowhere to be found!

Is there a issue with etsy search at the moment?

When I go to my shop and search for an item, it doesn't appear either. 5 items are found even though 6 are displayed

@MENGCACA My friend told me that she is having the same problem because her ads spent is $500 daily, but today $0. I think Etsy will fix this bug soon because they are not having any ads fee and process fee anymore.

It's weird. I just got an order from Ads, but there is no ads showing in searches.

Same. I woke up to 5 views and knew something was wrong. My shop is not indexed. This has never happened before. Off to contact Etsy.....

I have phoned Etsy support they said they will look into it and email back

Other shops listings on the same category are as normal on search so why is just some of us this is happening to!? 

I have only had sales for the visible listings today, not for anything else in my store that isn't showing up on search

Not just some of us, many seller did not notice it.

The same thing is happening to me. My top 3 items are invisible and when I search for them within my own shop there is nothing. This is insane.

I just noticed one of my bestsellers isn't indexed (fabric lanyard, which indeed I sew myself). I jumped on to chat and I am being told it is currently under review and that Trust & Safety team will contact me to let me know if this is being reinstated or removed. 

So I am guessing they are currently vetting a load of bestsellers and if they violate handmade policies or not, and while they are checking it they de-index them so that they won’t be found in search.

I think it is not policy violation issue. I just got an order from those listings. They will be removed if violate handmade policy.

@MENGCACA yes I was told they are checking the listing and if it doesn't conform the handmade policies it will be removed. Mine is 100% handmade so it shouldn't be a problem tbh.

The listing itself is visible in my shop, and can also be found with a link. Also I would assume all those that have it in their basket or in their favorites will still see it. But it can't be found in search.

In my conversation with Etsy support, they say there is no problem. However, when I check the stores of the friends who are having problems here, I see that they are also high-selling people like me. I think the problem is caused by etsy ads. Because I am currently not displayed on Etsy Ads, it is 0 visits 0, so it does not spend any money and it does not show my store first. Estimate your problem etsy ads. can you check? Is it 0 for you?

Not the issue due to etsy ads, some of advertised listings still show up in searches.

Yes, ads got views but very few.

I'm having a similar issue with one of my best-selling items. There was a reddit thread a few weeks back that went viral or something, and I ended up processing like 30 orders for that item in a single day. I usually might process a couple in a week.

Now, that item is nowhere to be found in search, whether it be site-wide or just in my shop. I don't know if it just got 'capped'  because of the influx, but it seems likely. I haven't really checked my other listings to see which ones are showing up or not.

Just spoken to Etsy Support on the phone, apparently it's a site wide issue that they're trying to fix as we speak. It's cost be thousands in revenue today and no apology or ETA. Sorry it's happening to you all too. So fed up.
