Etsy Search all incorrect

My views have been down massively the last few days.

Upon searching for my bestsellers i have found these are absolutely nowhere to be found in search.

I ranked top for several items in my etsy shop under several different searches for each item.

Now for example when i type in 'football water bottle' in search (i had a best seller in this search on page 1) i have got all the way to page 84 (the last page) My item is nowhere to be found!

Is there a issue with etsy search at the moment?

what are we supposed to do if they cant fix it?

We pay to list those items!

I think you may find "can't" will be incorrect,

I expect them to fix it, they don't want to lose the revenue from bestsellers, especially as it is happening to a few,

how long might be a different matter

I got this problem yesterday, after contact their online service for help, Here is what i got from etsy help:

Omg the same thing has happened to me today!! 

I have had no sales today which is not normal for me. I have just searched for my item category in Etsy search and only two listings are showing when usually I have so many on the first page and on each page. 

I'm so so worried 

If I type for example islamic baby frames on Etsy search none of my baby frames are showing, just two of my wedding frames are showing up for each category

we all need to contact etsy support regarding this.

If they keep getting the same issue being reported surely they have got to fix it.

no my sales have been down for around a week, i never even thought to check the search until today i just thought it was quiet due to the time of year.

Then discovered my items are nowhere to be found! 

Very frustrating this time of year is hard enough as it is without technical faults with etsy search

This silence is not normal for me. I usually have 10 plus sales a day. 

The last few days it's slowed down so I decided to check Etsy search and realised I'm not showing anywhere besides two wedding frames listings

i just searched in your shop for Islamic baby frames and it said there was no item yet i can see you have several.

if i search Islamic frames in your shop only 3 wedding ones come up so the same is happening to you what is happening to me! 100% a search issue going on within etsy!

Not great for you at all when your paying for 277 listing and only 3 are showing in search because whatever doesn't show when searched for in your shop wont be in etsy search.

I have 5 listings of sippy cup, but there are only 2 results when you search cup.

Es ist bekannt, dass man seine eigenen Produkte nur sehr selten angezeigt bekommt? Grund ist der Such-Algorithmus. Etsy zeigt die Produkte potentiellen Kunden an, also Leuten, die auf diese Produkte klicken und sie dann auch kaufen. Wie oft haben sie ihre eigenen Produkte schon angeklickt und gekauft? Wahrscheinlich noch nie. Immer wenn Etsy ihnen ihre eigenen Produkte anzeigt und sie nichts machen, dann wird Etsy darin bestätigt, das es nicht das geeignete Produkt für sie ist. Das Produkt wird ihnen nicht mehr angezeigt. Kann man so alles im Handbuch nachlesen. Eine Abhilfe würde ein echtes VPN schaffen. Dadurch erkennt sie Etsy nicht und zeigt ihnen unverfälschte Such-Ergebnisse.

Obviously, it‘s nothing about search algorithm. It's an index bug.

but that does not explain why when i search my own shop the listing are not coming up.

when i search other peoples shops on this thread who have stated their listings are missing i can confirm they are missing. 

so if this was the case their items would show for me.

We've just noticed this today today, around 11am It seemed things were a little quiet, I searched for our shop and listings and nothing comes up, I've spoken to someone at Etsy and they said it will be passed on to the technical team as the account is fine, maybe there are some gremlins at play.

Exactly the same today!  I’m so frustrated! I’m missing about 5 best sellers which are all at the top but nowhere to be seen today!

Do you have listings that can not be searchable in your own shop?

Oh my gos! I didn’t even see that! I can see them but when I search only one comes up! Oh my how is that even possible?

same problem here... My bestsellers and my competitors' bestsellers are no longer listed and can no longer be found... now the items found only contain items that have hardly been purchased... instead of 30-50 sales a day, I have 2... .
