ESTY STAFF messages unable to respond to. Also responsible to a linked scam. Any thought?

Had a problem regarding a Scam. ESTY STAFF messages came up informing of a paid purchase and i was able to respond. Whoever, gave info which was used in scamming process. After the incident occured, ESTY STAFF messages are inable to send to. Have they been identified as a scam messager?

there is now a special section in your Etsy mailbox that says 'From Etsy'. If the message is not in that section, it is a scam and one that has been used A LOT.  I got one of those messages too.
