I received an email from Etsy stating that Plaid was not able to verify my bank account and I needed to re-enter my banking info. However, when I try to do so nothing happens when I click the 're-enter bank details' button. Is anyone else having this problem? Also, I've used the same bank/accounts for many years, not sure why there would be an issue in the first place.
UGH @FallenAngelBrass I'm just beginning the manual verification process. I sure hope they have it sorted out by the time I get the deposits to enter them. I would hate to go through the process and then have it come back and tell me later it hadn't worked. Etsy glitches are so beyond tiresome especially when it comes to finances.

Yes today I got the same thing, but if you are getting paid then I guess it might be a glitch. There's no one at Etsy to chat with regarding this.

Having the same problem. I tried to contact Etsy by phone but they haven't returned my phone call. They must be bombarded with phone calls regarding this.
Yes. I did this weeks ago and now got that email today. Nothing happens and I can't figure out how to manually re-enter my bank details. Very frustrating! We all can't afford to have our money held or our shops suspended! I just sent an email to Etsy for help with this matter. I'm sure they are getting bombarded if we all are getting this email.

(it wasn't... it was ON the Seller Account Finance Page)...
So... NOW... I gotta 'verify deposits" and serve a HOLD?

Etsy has updated their post to say that the emails were sent in error and we should be able to check our verification status in our payment settings. However, mine still says that I am not verified (despite being previously verified) and the non-functional 're-enter bank details' button is still there. Not sure if there's anything to be done about it right now but wanted to update the thread.
Mine still says I am not verified too. Maybe it will take them time to find all the mistakes? I hope they get it cleared up soon!
Etsy is now announcing that everything is fine regarding the email re-verification SNAFU, but many of our Payment pages still show the orange alert that "We weren’t able to verify your bank account" with a dead button to re-verify. #It'sNotYou
Same issue, the update button disappears immediately so you can't verify if it's connected, the plaid re-enter button does not go anywhere so you can't reconnect plaid, Etsy contact is a callback which requires you to be at your phone and desk all day waiting, which is not possible if you have meetings or appointments, the Email contact is a few days to respond back to you then you get your next set of instructions and if that does not work its a few days more for the next reply and so on, and so on. Read through a lot of threads and some say no worries, it's a mistake, others say to manually do it but like I said, that is not an option. Lets hope I get paid on Monday! Very frustrating, inconvenient, and disappointing.
It says my bank account # doesn't match their records. The same bank account that is used since opening my shop 7 years ago! So what are we supposed to do? How do you get ahold of anyone on Etsy to help with this??

After wasting HOURS, I was TOLD by online Chat I HAD to ReValidate. I complied weeks ago. Used the Code link. Everything fine.
NO... Etsy... it's NOT just an eMail... a big WARNING is on our Finance Page. Our Bank was UNlinked...
DESPITE getting deposits for 3 weeks!
Do, I had to repeat "My Problem" (LOL), no, not MINE, multiple times to an Script Reader.
Had to get him/her to RESET the Button.
This time, I requested Micro-Deposit method... so... now:
1) I get to WAIT & HOPE I can enter THOSE in the page.
2) I get to WAIT -5 more business days- as "Fraud" verifies...
that a 5 Star Seller, w/ 10+ Years... is 'approved' to get MY MONEY.
I no longer have ANY Trust in Etsy. The hike in Fees? We should get REAL TIME responses.
We should get REAL Customer SERVICE, not script readers.
We should not be gaslighted that... it's just an eMail... NO, no, it is NOT.
Morning update - my payment settings page looks normal now. It says nothing about Plaid, just the usual "You're enrolled in Etsy payments" text box. I guess it is fixed or in the process of being fixed? Anyway, thanks to everyone for responding here, I appreciated the company while this was being sorted out!

Same but I never did the plaid thing, j don't trust it. But now it's just gone away... so odd.
The one really annoying thing is that the orange dot that appeared on the finances area of the dashboard at the same time as the notice to verify the bank account has not disappeared even though the bank account has now been verified.
Just fyi, I don't have the orange dot - I didn't yesterday either. Might be a browser thing or something?
