Returned deposit today? After several years with the same bank? And my credit card on file is not expired or anything. NOW WHAT Etsy? Anyone else having this problem?
Not sure how my post got into this thread. I started a thread called "Returned Deposit" and somehow that thread went away and I was merged into this one.
Same but was immediately resent by Etsy minus shipping charges for 2 labels I printed after the first transfer so about an $8 difference from the first amount sent.
There are enough accounts affected, it's clearly not a problem with anyone's banks, please don't waste your time and your bank's time by calling them. It's probably also not going to be prudent calling Etsy support. They clearly don't know what's going on and will just make something up to appease you and get you to go away (like telling you it's a problem with your bank). With so many accounts being affected by this, and the mods already moved this to technical issues so they can't say they weren't aware there was a problem, I believe all we can do is wait. Similar to when those who said when the bank failed last year that the sky was falling and made so many freak out about their deposits here, the sky wasn't actually falling and we all got our deposits then, just like I'm sure we'll all get today's deposit, even if it's a little late.
in My opinion, it 'appears' as though my deposits, {2 shops}, were 'scheduled' to go in at say 9 AM, But then at say 8:58 AM I made a Label and 'spent' .40 on 2 listings. So now the computer wants to 'adjust' the amount of money in my account and make the 'adjustment' to the deposit too.
Usually, I don't have anything happening that close to the 'deposit time' so this is a first
Same here. Another deposit was made but for about $24.00 less. Etsy chat said it's a widespread issue and their engineers are working on the issue. They weren't able to tell me if the deposit issue will be fixed today though.
