Returned deposit today? After several years with the same bank? And my credit card on file is not expired or anything. NOW WHAT Etsy? Anyone else having this problem?
Has anyone received their deposit? My deposit was returned but not resent a second time for deposit. Is Etsy going to resend the deposit? If so, does anybody know when? Thank you in advance.
For those saying their final deposit was smaller than the failed one, did you have any sales or other charges on your account in the interim? (Etsy Ads, Pattern, labels etc.) That always comes off of the money available for deposit first. @TheChadwickRose@JBPacrat
Maybe they'll listen to you. I tried explaining that a few times yesterday, but it seems like no one wanted to actually check the recent activities breakdown to see where the difference actually came from. Or at least didn't come back and admit there was a reasonable explanation beyond 'my deposit is now for less!' if they did.
All good, I don't believe you were one of the shops I recall, there was a couple specifically that I went back and forth with that were adamant there was no reason for their deposits to be different amounts, but never acknowledged if they checked the itemized breakdown to confirm absolutely nothing happened in their shop in between the first deposit attempt and the second. One was specifically adamant that whatever it showed on Sunday night is what was deposited on Monday, completely refusing to acknowledge that the deposit amount ever changed between Sunday night and whenever the deposit processed Monday.
I am having the same issue, etsy emailed me a month ago to ask me to upload another bank statement (than the one I have been using for the past 5 years), I have uploaded a new bank statement but they can still not verify it.
Etsy has not paid me for 1 month now and I am getting really stressed as you can imagine. I have tried to contact them multiple time over the phone, they escalated the issue each time to a service who sends me the same email saying ''you need to upload another bank statement'' but the payment setting page does not allow me to do so and as soon as I enter my bank details the page keeps jumping back to the payment setting page not letting me upload the bank statement.
I have not heard from them since 5 days even though I called them again today and my financial situation is getting critical as I live solely from etsy and don't have much savings...
If you have any tips on how to resolve this issue I will be forever grateful!
Anyone who had this deposit issue (I had it too) do your deposits for this week look accurate? I have one deposit notice emailed to me today (that will be posted to my bank account tomorrow) that is short. I went through the past few months and could not see this problem happening before.
