Returned deposit today? After several years with the same bank? And my credit card on file is not expired or anything. NOW WHAT Etsy? Anyone else having this problem?
Yes. Mine too. Returned and then they initiated it again. Maybe their bank was down or something but they redeposited the money again about 10 minutes ago.
no but I got 2 emails about 5 hours apart each stating that I was getting the same deposit.
So I sense glitch.
I don’t know why I didn’t just come here first. Called my bank and they show nothing. Contact customer support and they tell me it’s an e-mail issue.
At least if it’s a widespread issue they’ll actually fix it instead of ignoring us.

I'm in the same boat. Remember when one of Etsy's banks collapsed a while ago and some of us didn't get paid for a bit? Good times.
Same, and the new amount they deposited is less than what they were supposed to deposit.

I got a callback from Etsy support and they are aware of this site-wide issue today; it is on Etsy's side, they say, and MANY MANY sellers are experiencing the issue. Engineers are aware, and etc., but no reason why or idea when it will be fixed..... need my moolah. lol.

Same here, but I didn’t notice until I saw this thread. I was wondering if anyone had gotten two email notifications of funds being deposited by Etsy. I got one early this morning, then another a short time ago. My bank itself shows no sign of a deposit from Etsy, but when I check my finance page on Etsy it shows a deposit was sent, then returned, then sent again. Never a dull moment around here.

Did you buy any shipping labels in between? Did you make any sales in between the first deposit attempt and the second one? The available balance automatically takes fees out first, so fees from sales today would have reduced the deposit amount in the time when it was in limbo. Everything will be itemized in your recent activity of your finances page.
Same here. Would be nice if they would actually let everyone know what is going on instead of having to look on the forums. Thought that was why we have an "ETSY" message box.

Yes, and that's what I told the support person I spoke with today. Of course they are always very nice, and say they'll pass that info along, but I just don't know why they can't immediately send an email or put up a notice on our dashboards or something. It's our money, afterall.

In one shop, the returned deposit was deposited again. In the other, it was just returned. Of course it is the larger amount that was returned but not re-deposited.
Funny how these "errors" always happen to sellers, not to Etsy.

They canceled my first deposit, then shorted the 2nd deposit from the fees collected from sales today.
