Ads Icon Not Showing Up on Orders

Has anyone noticed that the ads icon, the one that looks like a megaphone, is not showing up on the orders page? Today I got three overseas orders from ads. They were for the same $26 item. Each order did not show the ads icon and had a more than $12 offsite ads fee attached to it. Had I not been looking at my account, I would not have noticed since the ads icon did not show up on any of the orders.

Offsite ads show a megaphone in your Payment Account, not on the Orders page.  Regular Etsy ads show a megaphone on the Order page - or so I've heard - I've never paid for Etsy ads.

Sounds like your three sales today had just the Offsite Ad Fees.

Thanks! I was told that when a shopper clicks on an ad, if they do not buy the thing in the ad, but buy something else, then the order is eligible for the offsite ad fee, but does not show the icon on the orders page. Sounds kind of sneaky to me.

Yes, that's always been the way - up to 30 days after clicking on an Offsite Ad, if they buy anything in your shop.  Nobody likes it, but at least we don't have to pay for clicks that never result in sales.

I've had them since the beginning - can't opt out - and they always show only on the Payment Account page.  High time Etsy uses a different icon to avoid confusion.
