I am having such a hard time getting my thumbnail photo to stay in place after I center it.  I take photos far enough away that this should happen. It never use to.  Anyone else experience this and know how to fix this?  Thank you!!!!

Re: Adjusting thumbnail photo for a listing

so I am told to have a better photo...then when I took a better photo, and tried to adjust it to fit nicely for the primary photo, it just will not do it.  This issue has been a problem for a long time and it is a pity to not be able to use this feature.  I see that for some shops the thumbnail is working so I am hoping this will soon work for me too.

Re: Adjusting thumbnail photo for a listing

Go to your 1st photo for the thumbnail.  Click on the pencil on the right.  On the page that comes up click on "transform" at the bottom of that page.  Your photo will come up with a grid around it.  Pull from the corners and turn your photo into a square (Etsy loves square images).  You can adjust up or down too like you would on any other photo program.  Once you get it where you want and think it will look good (make sure you leave a generous margin all the way around your image) click on "Apply" at the left of your page near the top.  It should go back to your listing page and show you the image in a square at the bottom of the photos.  Hope that helps you.
