Adding an inventory number

For the first time I'm offering some items in my shop in a quantity of more than 1. I'm selling magnets and cards and have 9 of each design. When I put 9 in as the quantity and save my draft, it reverts to 1. What am I doing wrong?

I think it has to be double digits cause I set mine at 10 and it stays as 10.

Hmmm, I was hoping that would work but it didn't. Still went back to 1.

Are you putting the amount of each variation (9) next to the variation?

There aren't any variations of each magnet, just one design with a quantity of 9. I'm doing a separate listing for each design.

I "believe" the customer has the option of a drop down box for additional magnets.  I would sign out of your account and go into your listing to test/see it.

Thanks everybody for your help and input. I wanted to let you know that I figured it out! Yay! You have to turn on the "Allow restock requests" button in order to offer more than one. Who knew? They're posted now.
