2 Factor Idendtification not working

Last two days I have no been getting my safety text to log in.

Etsy is auto letting me in without entering code?

I've cleared cookies/history on lap tap as thats what took care of the problem before.

I've shut down my phone also to clear things.

@tratgirl55: If you mean that you are not receiving a two factor authorization challenge each and every time you log in, then that is by design. You may want to read " How two-factor authentication works" on https://help.etsy.com/hc/en-us/articles/115015569567-How-to-Make-Your-Account-More-Secure#h_2

Use one of your back up codes to log in, maybe use a google authenticator next time when setting up your 2FA.

I’m getting into Etsy no problem.

the whole purpose of logging in and setting up authentication code text to your phone is being ignored basically. 

I am logging in with no code being sent.

that’s a problem if I am using Pinterest feed link on Etsy to  highlight new items. 

 I am thinking that’s not logging me off of any offsite links.?

Etsy should only send the code for these specific reasons:

• Logging in on a new device (or new browser).
• It's been 30 days since the last log in with a code.

But if you've cleared your cache, doesn't 2FA / Etsy see this as using a new device?
I know every time I clean up I have to log back in here and the other sites where I browse logged-in. Then I get those emails telling me a new device is using my account.
