I Just got to the forums on this acct and saw I had a notification that someone responded to a post I made on a thread.. OK— the only thing is— I never posted from this acct— that post was from my other shop and this shop was never in that thread.
Just odd.. not a big deal really. lol— I had to check twice to make sure what shop I was on!
when I look at your forum profile, it has a lot of activity.

Your forum profile shows you have posted 4 times with this account and have given lots of likes. Maybe like me--you sometimes forget which account you are posting from
like when I jump around like this. Altho I usually post as "Purple", above
Who are you?? Lol
Testing something
If you have more than one shop and are logged in to a shop A and come here and it shows you're logged in as shop B if you post it will revert to shop A. My husband won't log out of his shop and I will come here and accidentally post as him..doh!
I stay logged into all of my shops by logging in on different browsers.
This one on Firefox and my Phantom Poodle is on chrome. (And she really is a phantom poodle! LOL) Lovely little 6 lb beastie!
Different browsers.. Safari and DuckDuckGo.. rarely if ever am I logged into both at the same time. I can see where that could get confusing. lol..
and no ghosts and I am the only one who has the finger print to get into my Macbook.
My dogs don’t have thumbs so that wouldn’t work either— plus Mac’s go by your exact finger print to get into anything.
And my other shop is TheHomespunLoft
@ThePurplePuppy Liking for Phantom Poodle! ; )
That or someone in your household is secretly posting in the forums! Or a talented pet..or ghosts...
I hear what you are saying— But I have not posted for 3 weeks on this acct according to my profile here.. except for this post.. and I still don’t see this acct on that one thread that shows the OP responded to me. He did however respond to my other shop!.. That one post was from 2 days ago that is crossing with this shop. And you can see I haven’t used this acct for 3 wks here.
it is just odd that is all. But now I am going to look to see if it has happened before and I never paid attention to it. I don’t come here often with this shop.
I hardly ever log into both shops at the same time- different browsers.
I should probably post using this account more often--just so etsy doesn't think I have ceased to exist.
ETA: I think it makes it easier to check on both shops if I am signed in both at the same time. Just toggle back and forth.
I only have the one shop now. However, I’ve been noticing a lot of glitches on Etsy and in the forum in particular lately. Like yesterday from one browser it told me I had no forum notifications—“post something so you will get some”—and then today when I came in the Featured above the pinned articles was in Spanish and it was the only word on the page that was. I was going to post about it, but by the time I went back to look at how to spell the Spanish word for “Featured” correctly, it was already fixed. Now I’m starting to wonder if it’s just me or if Etsy really is having that much trouble.
I'll add this as a heads-up because at times one does have to wonder what is going on.
Around Memorial Day weekend I could now only read & post here in the Technical forums. Okay, not the end of the world but contacted Etsy.
The response from the Community Forum moderator advised me that my user name & email were not connected to a shop. That it's a buyer only account.
Well, I do have a shop, and despite vacation mode regularly check in, have deactivated listings, done drafts, etc. etc. I can sign into my shop with my email address &/or user name (& of course password).
That reason given to me by the community mod. has me concerned enough that I opened a help ticket with "Etsy proper". Their automated response was irrelevant & I'm doing follow ups. (As an aside the format of one message I sent as a buyer was puzzling) TBH I have no idea what's going, but in a way it's rather unsettling.
