Well I guess I'll start this one off! :)

Beauty, when I visited your shop the first thought that I had was, "WOW, this is definitely where a diehard Disney nerd would love to be!" You have created a world of eclectic fan art that is fascinating. I really can't say anything bad about your shop...the theme of colorful, theatrical movie art is very cohesive and distinct. Your style is definite, from your profile to your shop to your posts and messages, it all leads back to the feeling of "total Disney fan!" A very creative take on a very notable part of our culture; two thumbs way, way up! ;)

As soon as I visit your shop IO'm struck by that adorable baby model :D I love the headbands and the jewelry looks well made and simply chic. I did notice that you don't charge shipping, so you may want to put that in your shop announcement section as another draw :) I also noticed that your banner is a candle and you mention home decor, but there are no current listings in your shop for these items or for children's toys which is also mentioned in your shop announcement. If you plan on adding these, awesome, I can't wait to see them! However, if you're not planning on selling those items I would suggest taking those phrases out as it's a tad confusing right now :) Other than that, I like the organization and look forward to seeing more! I just had a little girl, so I'm all over baby clothes and the like right now :)

Great photography of your items! Good policies though there is no mention of where you ship to (you said to me in a personal Convo that you do not ship internationally yet). To me there is a slightly strange feeling to have the more 'cartoony' banner when your item photos are so crisp, clear and precise. You have a good range of pricing for different size purses ;)

I know I developed my original banner before deciding how to do my photography, so I'll be updating it and my policies now before anyone has a chance to review my shop :)

Your pictures are nice, but the hats could be shown off better. Your prices are very expensive. If you can find a way to lower the prices of your items, I have no doubt that you would sell them. Try searching etsy for other similar items and see how they are priced. I think that is your main issue. Other than that, your store is beautiful.

I think your page looks pretty good, and your prices seem to be reasonable. The one big thing I personally see is the photos. Some of the listings I think could use at least one picture each where you back up from the item a bit more, and use a bit more lighting/better lighting.

A single picture backed up so you see the item from farther away would be the good photo to use as the first photo in your listing. That photo is the one that pops up on the main pages and some of those items end up being cut off due to inherent cropping done by Etsy. A backed up picture would leave that item clearly visible before even clicking on it and could lead to more clicks.

Okay, so the first thing I see when I go to your shop are these gorgeous garlands! I love the concept and the handcrafted work that you've done! The pictures are gorgeous and showcase the artwork well. I only really had two issues with your shop. First is that you don't really give shipping estimates for worldwide; this is a nice things for potential customers to see in case they need something by a certain date that they have in mind. Second, I suggest that you proofread before you publish: I found this [Additional Policies and FAQs If you want a creation with a specific color, lenght, etc. Please feel free to contact me.] Where length is misspelled. I also saw this [This is an handmade garland of hearts.] That made me pause. I believe that replacing the an with just a would sound better.

So other than these small details, I absolutely love your shop and look forward to seeing what else you put up!

Hi Alyssa!

You have very nice jewellery items for sale. The banner is great, it nails the idea! :) On some photos you might want to adjust the first photo so that the item is in the center and not so much empty backround in sight. Models would work fine, too because they show how exactly the items look on real people.
Other ways it's very nice, colorful items and great ideas. Good luck on sales!

Adorable shop! As a buyer...I personally like to see a logo or or shop name on the shop banner (Kind of like a welcome mat into the boutique). Your items are fun, but I'd recommend working on your pictures...if you search knit hat, what makes yours stick out among the rest? Because the pictures are busy, the hat doesn't stand out. I love that you have them on a model...I only order when I can see how an item should fit. Good titles, good tags, nice descriptions. I like that you add "no seams" in the description. If you have extra characters in the title...maybe add the materials used? (things that buyers might search)

You have a lot of sales, good photography, reasonable prices and a good selection but you could list more. Such a relaxing shop.
I like your banner photo but it looks a little dark and the banner title seems too low.


Do you have other social media besides FB?
Do you ship internationally?

Karen - such cute stuff, just need to add more listings to be more visible.
I like your simple banner - just says it all and leads shoppers to your items!
I think some of your photos could have simple background, to put more focus on the item being sold.
And in the shop announcement you could add more explanation of what kind of items you sell - all vintage or supply or handmade?
And some pictures in your about page would help keep shoppers engaged.

Hi Karen,

I like the concept of recycling in your shop. the name also reflect that.
I would work on the overall appearance, photos can be brighter and try to choose lighter backgrounds, as the items are often lost on to bust background.

Maybe try to shoot it on a plain whits background, of try a white canvas for a bit of a soft texture. This will bring out and emphasize the burlap texture much more. Also , you might want to consider offering a special discount of a wholesale purchase for this item. Say someone who sell jewelry would like to purchase a big amount of this one. You can open it to a whole new market , maybe do it in some other colors as well. Or white linen etc.
Also maybe try work on the banner. The key is to give a cohesive overall look, so the eye will not get too confused and potential buyers are able to get the idea of what it is you are selling in one glimpse. I hope this can help, good Luck to you!

I love your items! They're beautful. I think your photography is good, but it may be a little loud and distracting to some (that may just be more of a personal opinion though).

Great items, great prices. :) The white background is good, but a bit more staging and angles might help.

And the lyric paintings are a great idea, but you might want to pencil in some super light lines to keep your words straighter. I adore the idea, though!

Stunning banner, but was kind of disappointed your pictures didn't match the theme of your shop.

Maybe a backdrop that matches your shop. get creative with your photos. zoom out, editing is the key to making your images beautiful. picmonkey.com is the website I use to edit my photos.

All I would say is some of the thumbnails are cutting off your pics so I can't read what all of them say. Can they adjust more? Anyway, I also love your "about" on your profile. First impression of your shop is that it has some cool and unique items, the photography is quite well done also! Your shop info section could be filled out a bit more, it would help with google finding your store as well as other searches for your items pointing to the store not just the items.
One quick note for your materials and tags, using both the word antler and antlers is wasted, Etsy and other searches ignore plurals and in your tags you have search terms with no spaces between words, this will make those tags irrelevant, think of them like they are what someone would type into the search section.
You're doing better than me so far though, 3 sales in about a month is a good start!

Brendon - Thank you so much for the tag tips! Still very new at this. The 3 sales were one order, thanks to instagram :) and I've retaken my pics at least 4 times so I'm glad someone likes them!

I was just wondering - where is the shop info you're talking about that I need to fill out more? I'm not exactly sure what section your specifically meaning, so I wanted to clarify before editing. Thank you!
