Juls, as always, I hope you get a call-back!!! Thanks for the comments on the blanket. I'm edging mine (that's where I'm at as of this morning), I just like a more finished look. And my starfish will be a burnt orange color. I'll try to post pics when I get it done.

Dianna, so glad you sought me out of Facebook! Now we're friends there too. :)

Juls, I think when Donna was here, she calculated and decided it was not worth selling anything under $3.50...and well, that was years ago. I'm sure with the increase in fees, that has had to gone up.

My digi-sheets are on an average $4.50, but there's no shipping and basically, once I have the art done there is nothing I have to do again. Most of them even relist themselves. I do have to not out-price myself on what others are charging here on Etsy for digi-sheets.

Okay, it's a STUNNING day here in Mid-Michigan. I am going downstairs to enjoy it! Hope your day is sunshin-ey too! ♥

Good job, Kat! (on the transfers) Yep. That price sounds close. With the instant downloads, I think it is much different. Calculating in the shipping cost is going to be the pits. Or for taxes, calculating OUT the shipping cost is going to be a PITA. Especially this first year, with only half of the year being that way.

Busy morning for me, I'm wrapping up a trade with Juls (woot!) and working on getting her new afghan wrapped up to go, I finished the beachy baby afghan for my grandson-to-be (still have to make the sea turtle appliques), I just got a wedding design order plus an instant download recipe card, and I transferred two more digi-sheets to this shop. I'm staying about 3-4 expireds behind, but slow and steady wins the race, right?

Oh my gosh. I sold some bags to someone. She sent me a convo saying they were way too small. I told her I would be glad to refund her money, even though I personalized them. She sent me another that said no that's ok. I threw them out and I will never buy from you again. I feel horrible. I did say how big they were in my listing. I also stated they were for a small favor and I also said please note size of boxes before ordering. Now I am worried about a bad review.

Sandy, I am sorry. I hope for the best for you. If she does leave a review that states "too small" or "box size", you can get Etsy to remove it, as you state in your listing the size. If she says nothing, that is a hard one. But, she may leave no review, and realize it is her own fault. Also, you can reply to any review and it shows up with the review for people to see. So, you can state that you offered a full refund, even though personalized and non-refundable. You can state that the size is clearly listed and you state in your listing that it is a small favor. Etc. When I see the business owner's reply, I dismiss the bad review as a bad customer (one that I wouldn't want).

And as Leslie said, most people dismiss the bad review as weighed to all the other good reviews.

My sewing machine needs repair. Eek. Not a good time. But, it is probably overdue for a tune-up. So, I have to bite the bullet. It is usually around $300 to get the works. (They spend about 6-8 hours repairing and tuning up the machine.) SOOOOOOO...

I got Kat's blanket done. And I got her afghan and it is AMAZING! Her crotchet work is fabulous and it looks fantastic on my couch! I am bragging to everyone! Thanks, Kat!

I got one order done. And my machine went on the fritz again. I found out that it is a minimum $200 to look and the machine, and then I have to pay for any parts to fix. So, potentially, not as bad, but still need to make that money.

Good news, I sold one item from the EtsyLaborDay2018 Sale! Yippee!
Just need another $190. tee-hee. I have gotten a few favorites from strangers, too. That is pretty nice. Maybe it will lead to some holiday sales.
