Dear Latino/a Creative Community Team:

I'm so glad you've joined! Foremost, I hope this team will be a go-to place for latino artists to connect with each other. When I joined Etsy in December, I was interested in connecting with other Mexican American/Latino sellers, and they were not easy to find.

I would love to hear any ideas you may have on how we can support each other. We can start by "favorite-ing" each others' shops/products and creating treasuries featuring team members' products. It could also be a good forum for sharing business tips, or a place where we can constructively critique each others' shops.

I'd love to hear your thoughts/suggestions!

I love going through the shops here and seeing what my fellow artists are letting flow from their hearts, minds, and souls. It's all a beautiful and magical thing. Not only that, but it also lets out some of our stresses of our daily lives...don't you think?

Hi everyone -
My name is Jessell and I'm a Peruvian-American born and raised in Los Angeles, CA but currently crafting it up in Miami, FL. I mainly make hand knit, embroidered, and/or sewn, brightly-colored accessories. I'm so glad I was able to find a brown-pride etsy team I could join (I was rejected by another etsy team because I wasn't actually born in a Latin-American country) and look forward to getting to know everyone and their shops. Thanks for putting this team together!

Eventhough I'm new in Etsy, I've been in the e-commerce world for almost a year working on my other passions: Paper mache sculpting and sewing which I've been doing ever since I was a kid. Hope that my expertise in any of the fields will be helpful to the group. By the way, any tips on getting a booking under the wedding category? I've sheduled add under edibles but I've no luck under weddings.
