1] the title is fine, except tie-dye might be included.
2] the description is fine.
3] key words: get rid of tye die, as misspelling is acceptable to some, but not necessarily others. I would recommend mentions colors such as the black, turquoise, and pink, etc.

Without reading what others wrote:

1 - The start of the title made me chuckle! Suggestion: State right in the title how many pieces are available. ie: AhAhAh! 7 Vintage Letterpress ... The pic may be obvious, but there will be people who view it and go, 'oh, is that all or are there more?'

2 - AhAhAh! Seven Vintage Cast Metal Letterpress Sorts. [or use 'Pieces' if you feel people wouldn't get 'Sorts.']

3 - All tags used. I'd change 'red grey brown mint' to 'steel grey,' since I don't associate the dried ink with the letters and it can be cleaned off. You could use it with 'ink' in a tag. Maybe change 'ahahah interjection' since it sounds so sterile in comparison to other tags listed like 'fun laugh' and 'joy joyful life.' Why not appeal to the metal smith crowd and use tags like 'cast metal' or 'cast letters' instead of 'tipography' [is that a typo?] There are lots of us out there who have worked in foundries and print shops that get pangs of industrial nostalgia.

1. The title is cute and catchy, and "crop top" is a good descriptive phrase. I think the title should include the words hand dyed and/or tie dye, and possibly indicate if it is for women or girls or teens.

2. Maybe something like: hand dyed crop top - tie dye short-sleeved t-shirt for women or teens - blue, purple and pink swirl

3. All 13 tags were used, but many were evocative single-word adjectives that did not actually describe the item. Tags like "fun" or "cotton candy" would not be likely search terms that buyers would type into the search bar. I would revamp the tags to include more descriptive phrases, possibly:

tie dye crop top
tie dye clothing
hand dyed crop top
hand dyed women's shirt
casual crop top
hippie
short sleeve tee

① I like that the use of the word Candy as it is a unique way to describe the colours and “crop top” clearly defines the top. However, the addition of words, “tie dye” and “blue”, are prominent words that could help direct the customer to this exact item.

1. I like the imaginative name of the top but I would include 'tie-dye' as that appears to be trending at the moment.

3. All the tage were used. You get more imaginative ones by typing a key work in the search line. I would try a new direction such as 'hipster crop top'and 'indigo dye'which I got by using the search space.

The Vintage Letterpress:

1. I like that the title is concise and to the point - Vintage and Letterpress - it is what it says... however in the world of Etsy I am thinking that it needs to have more options for sellers to find this product.

Just to note on the photos which is not what was asked, but hey ho! I can see seams in the metal work, so are each of the letters individual? or does it come as one block. As Doris Durham pointed out as well, the way the letters are laid doesn't actually print AhAhAh! Maybe she could use the other two photos in the item's posting allowance to show this (that each block is an individual (I have assumed this))
And still with the photos, in the first one I find the blue object distracting. It blurs into the letterpress edge. I think it is because the blue is too similar in colour to the grey letterstamp; there is no contrast. It would be better to use a larger, not blue background to contrast with the letter press itself. Such as a wooden background.

2. Such as: Vintage 1950's Letterpress, Letter stamp, scrap booking accessory.

3. of the 13 tags, seven I would change as they don't help... for example joy joyful life, happiness happy are two I would drop.
suggestions would brainstorm along the lines of:

office decor
study home decor
etc

1. I like that the title accurately describes the item. I think a longer title with more keywords would help with search rankings.

① I like the touch of personality (Ahahah!), which is short enough not to have a huge negative SEO effect, but also draws the buyer's attention. Unfortunately, limiting the useful part of the title to just one generic phrase ("vintage letterpress") really limits the number of shoppers you'll get to see the item; anyone who shops for metal letters, or a printers block, or etc. will not see you in the first pages of search results because these phrases are not in your title.

② I would include several more phrases, ideally with combinations of specific and general phrases, that accurately describe the item. Giving specific advice about what phrases/words to use is honestly kind of useless (as it is for almost anyone here) because none of us have done the research necessary to know what phrases are searched often, have less competition, lead to conversions, etc. You will have to do this research for yourself - I suggest starting with Etsy's suggested search and the google keyword planner.

③ You've used most of the tags, which is good, but many of them are wasted either on misspellings (tipography), nonsense phrases that no one searches (happiness happy, red gray brown mint), and shorter tags that could be effectively combined into longer ones, giving you more space to include niche words or phrases.

Your photography is so good, your items so trendy, and your shipping so reasonable ($5.42 from Portugal! amazing!) that it is a shame to waste all that good work with such short titles and wasted tags :)

Just a few ideas that might help...

Candy Crop Top:
The title should contain Teen Girl if possible, so the right buyers can find it.
Also, it would be very helpful to discuss the size. Maybe the title could say Teen Girls S M L, and in the description, have the actual measurements, or conversions to sizes in other countries, since you are shipping worldwide.
Another good tag for this might be Colorful Tee.

Dish Cloth:
You mention that it would make a good gift, which is awesome. If you happen to deliver it already wrapped or can offer gift-wrapping, that should be in description and in the pictures.
You might point out that as an alternative to paper towels, these are "green", since that appeals to a lot of people now. Also that they are handmade, and unique, colorful, and cheerful.

Vintage Letterpress:
I'd include a picture of the back and one showing it with something for scale. Very good description of the size. I can't tell from the description if the letters are fixed together. And, you might point out some uses for it, like paperweight, doorstop, etc.
You might include the word Steampunk in tags or title since it seems to fit that trendy look.

Title: Candy crop top

* I really like that the seller concisely described the specific cut and style of the shirt for sale, including the technical term for such. (Crop Top) However, I do feel that this item title is not utilizing its full potential. The title needs to give a broader description of the item in order for it to obtain more exposure in search results. Etsy States that words in item titles should be those that a buyer would use when searching to buy an item being listed. It is also a good idea to include synonyms of key search terms to gain maximum exposure, for items that are commonly described in multiple ways. For instance, instead of only including "top" in the title, the seller should add words synonymous with "top" such as "shirt" and "tee". Also, while candy is a cute term for the shirt, I don't feel it is a weird that someone would include in their search term when shopping for a shirt like this.. ever. It is quite possible I am simply out of date on trendy fashion terms to use however. I would instead add the two main colors, and "tie die" and perhaps "short belly shirt" if room allowed.

② How would you re-write this title?
Retro Crop top Tie Dye Hippie style short belly shirt in 80s Colors custom design available blue purple. (I would drop specific colors if space did not allow for them)

③ How many tags were used? What other tags would you recommend?

I believe 16 tags were used, which I found to be peculiar. I wonder if this is due to the categories it was listed under, or the fact that she had 2 different spellings for the same term. (Women & women's, for example).

I have one more question for the group: is it better to have key search phrases instead of words? That is- will a tag still come up in search if all words match exactly? Or will any word matching be sufficient?

1) It’s great that the top has a style name - it gives the item a sense of character – and crop top is a spot on description. I’d love to see phrase Tie-Dye front and center, though. If it were me, I’d put this at the front of every description in my shop because that’s really what the core business is about and it makes your items stand out from other offerings in clothing categories.

2) I would rewrite this title to: Tie-Dye Crop Top Blue and Purple ‘Cotton Candy’

3) All of the tags are used – Clothing, Women, Shirt are basic listing info and don’t need to be duplicated. There are so many variations of spelling on Tie-Dye, that I would use all of my tags on various combinations rather than more abstract associations like ‘cotton candy’. Some other ideas are: tye dye crop top, tye dye shirt, tie die crop top, tie dye shirt, tiedye shirt, tyedye shirt, purple tye dye, blue tye dye, turquoise tye dye.
