As brief as I can make this--
For SEO specifically, I've studied my market and my competition on Etsy and outside, and do so constantly. I change my key words frequently, updating to words that I never thought of before or that are now more popular. If you're not sure of what you can do to boost your SEO, I highly suggest joining an SEO team and reading as much as you can.
When a listing expires, I usually let it do so and it stays unlisted until I'm ready to tackle a listing overhaul. I have hundreds of expired listings that need to be revised. When I revise, I look at the listing images, descriptions, title, and tags.
For social media, it's really a matter of which platform works well for you. I play around with Facebook and instagram, but don't expect sales from them because I don't put forth full efforts. I've spent much more time on Pinterest, and get many sales from it.
My work day starts with answering emails, then working on orders. I answer new emails every few hours. I usually go to the Post Office around 4 pm.
I don't spend nearly enough time creating new products because mostly I'm fulfilling orders (most of my items are made to order and custom). I also don't spend a whole lot of time on marketing because I wouldn't be able to keep up with the workload of an increased volume of sales.
