All I had in my "message to buyer" section in the past was a brief "thank you for your purchase." Now I have changed it to this: "Thanks so much for your purchase! If you have any questions, problems, or concerns with your order, please contact me immediately and I will work to remedy it! If you are pleased with your order, please share your experience with others by leaving feedback!"

I pretty much have my entire shop's policies briefly (Still a bit long) in my message to the buyers. Especially around the holidays I get a lot of the "I didn't read the shop policies" which are also in the direct email to them from Etsy on their receipt, and their paper receipt too. it just helps protect my shop with a few added information for those who don't read before they complete a purchase

I have a question: When do buyers see this message. Mine prints out on my receipt that I include in the package but that is after the item ships so including shipping information on the message would be after the fact. Does this message also get sent to the buyer by email after they pay for their purchase?

I just want to copy and paste what you all have written since I my mind tends to go blank at crucial moments - writing tags for products, writing the descriptions, and a message that tells buyers that if there is a problem they should contact me - without suggesting to them that there could be a problem. I have written variously, contact me for any reason whatever, talk to me, let me know if you have any questions, etc. UGH. I want to tell them I will bend over backwards to make them happy without saying I will bend over backwards to make them happy! HAH.
