Introducing The New About Page For Your Shop

Hi sellers!

We've long ago established that telling your story on Etsy (of your product, of yourself, and of your shop) is incredibly important. Today we launched a dedicated place in your shop where you can share your story with the world. In your shop’s new About page you can add pictures of your process and talk through the special details that set your shop apart. If you look in my shop, you can see on the left side under 'shopinfo' the new link "about".

Probably the nicest item added to our shops in a good while.

Working on mine now and I have seen other seller's 'about pages'. Just a fresh positive way to encourage our customers to believe us when we say "handmade" and self-made.

I think this is a great idea, we were all trying to squeeze this onto the profile pages and I always thought a separate pic of the designer would be a good idea. I do think the link is a little bit hard to find but more importantly it needs to be on our profile pages too!

I have done mine this morning but need to take some working and behind the scenes pics but this is a start.

I love this new feature, particularly with the addition of revolving photos! One might argue that the Profile page was enough, but this gives us all an extra way to connect personally to our buyers. Isn't that what Etsy is all about, i.e., not being anonymous factory machinery, but rather creative human beings relating to other creative human beings, whether it's in designing our wares or being eco-conscious with our vintage treasures. Thanks again for keeping this site the best of its kind on the Web. xox Sandra

From my end your images in the movie are fuzzy. Might go back a tweak the adjustments.
Nice story about your jewelry process. I too work rock and consider myself a lapidary queen.
