Stocking up the shop and tweaking my existing listings to improve SEO, and put more of my personality into my descriptions. 15 new items per week is my goal!

Re: Holiday Boot Camp Week One: Set a Goal

My goal this holiday is to have both quality and quantity. I always feel like I don't have enough really cool stuff or I have too much kind of cool stuff. I've got to get trendy and burn the midnight oil.

Re: Holiday Boot Camp Week One: Set a Goal

Have worked for months at learning marketing and networking, at Facebooking and Pinteresting, that I have really let my inventory slip. My goal is to have at least 50 items total in my shop before the end of November.

Re: Holiday Boot Camp Week One: Set a Goal

Personally I feel a little overwhelmed with the amount of advice I have received. Although it's really good advice I can't keep up with it all and feel like I am failing :o(

Re: Holiday Boot Camp Week One: Set a Goal

My first step toward hitting my financial goal for the holiday, is to make a more productive work space. Right now it's like a creative hurricane, so I am cleaning and organizing everything to make crafting easier on me.

Re: Holiday Boot Camp Week One: Set a Goal

I know I need to master tags and titles for SEO.. and learning a lot from my newly converted Etsian sister who has achieved immediate success with minimal promotion. (She found a niche item, while by comparison I am "throwing mud on the wall and hoping something sticks") - so, finding hot and trending items is key for me, also

Re: Holiday Boot Camp Week One: Set a Goal

I wiped out most of the stock in my 2 main shops in September and have been working on restocking with fresh items and redoing photos for a more uniform look.

My goal is to have 100 listings in each of my 5 shops by Thanksgiving and I would like to gross $1,000.00 by the end of December between all of them.

Not easy because we have 10 dogs and one of them is a puppy. She's like 5 dogs worth of work in 1!

Re: Holiday Boot Camp Week One: Set a Goal

I have a lot of stock....so my goal is to sell many items that have been on my ' virtual' shelf the past year.

I aim to achieve that by taking new photos, reworking tags, etc...

As for custom order, I just received the supplies I ordered so I'm ready in that area.

Re: Holiday Boot Camp Week One: Set a Goal

This is the first year I really have the time to sink my teeth into holiday planning (rather than flying by the seat of my pants) and I am really enjoying the boot camp. Very helpful. My goal is:
by Nov 1 I will have developed, shot, packaged and promoted new scarves and toques. I also will be offering holiday packaging.

Re: Holiday Boot Camp Week One: Set a Goal

My holiday goal is to increase sales from last holiday and to change out half of my shop!! I'm seeing that I sell the same items a lot and many just sit there with no activity. Time to switch those out for items that will sell this year :)

Re: Holiday Boot Camp Week One: Set a Goal

My immediate goals is to add 20 more items to my shop, increase my marketing to attract more buyers, and create two brand new products before the end of November (I already have the ideas). I also want to learn more about how to use the tools that Etsy has available.

My long term goal is to have at least 20 sales per month, every month. Then I would earn a decent living with my shop.
