Help with Listings, please

Would you please give me your opinion. I have been photographing and listing (draft) several items for my shop, with the idea of publishing one or two listings per day in an effort to attract more views. Suddenly, I am second guessing myself.

For example. I have about 8 draft listings for tiny vintage buttons. Would it be wiser to release (publish) all of them at the same time, or should I publish one or two per day? I am still a little confused about how this works and I am afraid if I list them all at once, by tomorrow all of them may end of on the last page and nobody will see them. Buttons are just an example. I have draft listings for lace, books, etc., as well.

Your input is appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Re: Help with Listings, please

I would most definitely list them all together as a "lot". I have sold online for many years, and as a power seller on ebay, and "lots" do very well. Many people use them for craft projects too (as I do), and they love to buy in 'lots'. Use the keywords "vintage wholesale lot buttons....." in your title if you do that. Keywords in titles are what help buyers find your items/listings. :=]

Etsy is not like Ebay when it comes to Lots. It really does not matter if you list new items one at a time or all at once.

Selling one or more listings and renewing the sold listing works in getting more views and sales.

Re: Help with Listings, please

As an addition to what Kathy and Mary have said, I wanted to input that generally (but not always!) sellers tend to say that their sales increase if they have more items in their shops, so you might want to take that into consideration. That may depend on your market/target group though.
