I have a set of Asian dishes a relative of mine gave me and the box they came in says 'Asian Pattern" (I don't have Asian decor in my home but I use them when they come over... :=] ). It is nearly identical to your branches and flowers. To me it has an Asian Whimsical look for sure. I see this same type of pattern a lot on Asian items.
