Thanks for posting this. I always like a good checklist! And some of these things would never have occurred to me to try. I have to take my cat interstate for radiation treatment next fortnight, so I'll be looking for ways to occupy my time in the hotel room. This should give me a way to be productive!
I'd also like to add a tip of my own. Once you've tagged your item with the obvious descriptive keywords like, "red" or "earrings", it's hard to know what themes people are really interested in on Etsy.
Subscribe to Etsy Finds email, click on the links to see what keywords they've used in their themed searches, and then think about whether you have any items that fit that theme. Retag accordingly, and you'll find that over time, you build up tags that fit the themes people are actually looking at. It's a good way of making sure your themed tags are on trend.
