Experience with indiemade?

Hi,
I'm new here but I'm hoping it's ok to post this type of question. I plan on opening my own online shop at the beginning of next year and have started researching a few difference sites. I am currently leaning toward indiemade.com. I wanted to hear first hand experiences with it if anyone here has any before I put it at the top of my list. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Re: Experience with indiemade?

Yes, your clothing's adorable! I looked into IndieMade and chose SiteBuildIt.com instead. Was with them four years ago and had to know too much html so left back then but now it's LOTS easier..and what they give you for $30/month is worth, in my opinion, about two years worth of education on how to build a PROFITABLE site...not just a site.

Good luck in your search,
Lisa

Re: Experience with indiemade?

Hi there everyone! I just wanted to chime in...the big difference between IndieMade and its competition is that IndieMade is a complete website platform (hosted CMS) for artists. Every site comes fully loaded with everything. For $11.95/month you get a built in store (full blown with reports), integrated blog, image galleries, news items, events calendar and custom pages. We also provide social integration and amplification (your content can be shared socially on any social network). It can also be on your own url. We also offer loads of free resources directed specifically to the needs of artists on how to create a successful business. Also, we have just gone into beta testing with our Etsy Connect feature: Here's the skinny: http://www.indiemade.com/blog/indiemade-etsy-connect-feature-needs-beta-testers I hope this helps. Corine, your clothes are lovely.
