Like a couple of others on our team, I am new to selling on Etsy. How long did it take for seasoned sellers to make their first sale? Love to hear from you!
It took about 3 months, although I only recently filled my front page, got my blog running smoothly, and developed a cohesive look for my images :) If I had done all these things right away, I doubt it would have taken so long.
Hello everyone and welcome the little me to Etsy! Just opened my shop this week and, naturally, no sales yet. Hopefully the first of the many comes soon! :-)
Just wanted to say a big thank you to those who have supported my little shop through my first sales (yay!), facebook likes and positive etsy interactions. I am having so much fun on etsy!
Hello again everyone! Just want to share my excitement....after opening my shop just last Tuesday, I got my first sale sometime in between my last comment and this comment. Yay!!! Crossing fingers for more to come. :-D :-D :-D
Hi all! I've just opened my first store ever on Etsy on 22 April 2014, haven't made any sales, yet. I also have FB page (www.facebook.com/colorpopcraft) and have so far made three sales (for a total of five items) from there. I'm wondering whether my etsy thing will work, but on the hand I know my shop still also needs lots of improvement (keep learning everyday). I'm happy to find such great communities here anyway :)
I opened my shop in June last year and was fortunate enough to make my first sale in 2 days which I only think happened because all my items came up at once in the recent listings and someone who is looking happened to see them.
Since then though I have only made 2 more sales but these have included 6 items for one and 3 for another. It will be interesting following this post to see what has been the story with others.
Good luck with it all, I really hope it works out!
Hi guys, I'm new here and just wanted to know if someone could check out my shop for me, make sure everything looks okay and maybe offer some tips? I know I need to add stock regularly and I'm working on that.
I only opened the shop two days ago so not expecting any sales right now, but wanted to make sure I'm doing everything I can. Thanks! :)
Hi everyone I opened my shop in march but only got serious 2 months ago, made 2 sales in the last fortnight both overseas. I think being Australian maybe we can offer something different and unique. What I found helpful was a lovely lady from Scotland who is very successful on ETSY that became a critique for my shop, and gave me some great advise. All the best and never give up.
Hi all! I joined Etsy two days ago and have been busy posting a few pieces of my artwork and greeting card sets. I'm hoping this is the right venue to sell my work as I have two distinct styles - one traditional, simple image photography and the other very creative and blended to look similar to paintings with a twist. Would love it if someone could have a look at my site and let me know if I'm on the right track - always welcome to feedback because that's the only way that I'll improve. I'd appreciate if you even just dropped a line or a comment or a 'hi'. Overall, I'm just glad to get my work out there. I've sold to one gift shop and have my first market booked for the end of this month. I'm so excited!!!! Yes, I get excited easily lol. :-D
