Like a couple of others on our team, I am new to selling on Etsy. How long did it take for seasoned sellers to make their first sale? Love to hear from you!
My first sale on Etsy was almost 7 years ago! It took about 2 months, I'm happy to say that I now have over 2400 sales across my two Etsy stores. My first store is dedicated to bridal party jewellery gifts and other for birthday or other occasion jewellery as gifts. Hi Jay, we opened our shop in Sept 2017 and it didn't start taking off until Feb 2018. So around 4 months was our first sale. Its been pretty quiet this month, hoping it will be busier this month. When we started ages ago we listed simple cabs at a price we thought okay. Suddenly a lot of sales. Within days from memory. But no wonder. The price was way to low. Making only cents. Didn’t take into account all costs, time, shipping time, and so on. But did get sales. Then raised prices to actually make money and sales dropped. Considerably. But may be a way to start.
I've just started with my new Etsy shop recently after everyone kept asking if I sold my photos. I'm hoping that it will be successful. Fingers crossed
