September Workshop: Mentors and Mentees

Etsy admin send me a convo accepting us to the SEPTEMBER MENTORS WORKSHOP so lets go to talk about what we will do during this next month!

I am still preparing the participants list, so please let me know if you are interested posting here.

Please let me know which ones of you are interested to be in the workshop and let me know too your mentors skills (if you have) and your help needs (if you have). I mean something like this:

Mentor skill:
I am good in photography
I am good in SEO
I am good in....

And I would like to be a mentee because:
I need help in promoting myself,
I need help in, how to do xyz..
I need help in..

Not necesery to be both, you can only be a mentor or a mentee, depending your needs, or you can be mentor and mentee of course.

During September we will work about improving our shops in pairs, but we will talk about it later.

Please let me know if you have any question and who is interested in it! We have to send the final participants list before 30th August.

hello every one. I'm new at etsy... I'm still setting up my shop here. I'm glad to find this team as a beginner. I am very fond of collecting vintage t shirts especially rock shirts. I am a single mom of 8 and 9 years old and is residing here in Manila,Philippines. I raise my kids by myself, life here in the Philippines as everybody knows is really tough but I try my best to meet my kids needs by any means I can.
I hope by the end of this month I cd post all my listings. I am looking forward to be promoting each member of this team's stores.

Eli, losing your mother is a huge loss. Lost my 11 years ago and still feel the effects even today. Thank you for sharing it with us so we can give you the time and space you need to get things back on track.

I'm really enjoying worthing with Linda from Crafty Little Sewn Sews. She's been a great encouragement to me and we are doing our best to help each other with our shops.

Would still appreciate if at some time you could take a look at my shop and give me your feedback. I'm now using Etsy's promotions but still not getting many views. Wondering if I need to change my keywords?

Am trying to get friends to favorite my shop. Most say they will and then either forget or just don't bother. At any rate, that's not getting me anywhere either.

I've signed up for the Holiday Boot Camp and am looking forward to it, but since I'm a really new shop owner and much of my work is custom I have no idea how to prepare.

Also, I do have one question. Over and over they recommend sending a thank you note with an order. Would anyone be willing to share what they say in their notes? Just trying to get some idea of wording and what to include.

Hi I'm new to all of this and a little intimidated. I have a hard time filling my shop with items. I look at other shops that are full of beautiful things. I work full time and only have two items currently in my shop. Should I wait to post items until I have more? Thanks for any suggestions.

I and can't figure out why no one buys . I have been using social media-Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest to connect with others and promote my store. In addition to posting sales and new products, I post a combination of free helpful tips related. Still, no sales. What's going on? Please help! Any feedback is greatly appreciated.
