MissTory...thank you! No, I didn't at all. This slab is very stable, and I'm hoping the same will be true with the other 3 slabs. I should be able to get back to cutting after next week's show. Then I can settle down, and just work on things that are appealing to me, and not just items to sell. :) (not that I make things I don't like to sell...but you all know what I mean...creative vs production work).

I'll be listing several of these in the cab shop, hopefully in the coming weeks. I have some crazy lace that is stellar that is dopped and ready for cabbing...so hopefully soon. :)

Nope. I helped the power guys carry some equipment to the area, wires off two poles, then shovelled dirt for a bit, then fired up the generator, needed my thread fix and had lots of convo/email stuff interrupted. Staying busy.

you can use either 8 or 10 1/2 round. 18 isn't thick enough.

Sweet! Thanks Sue!

I will have to do that. I have more in the works, that hopefully will be a little more even on the sides. Having to readjust my brain for lapidary these days.

I was thinking 8...but just couldn't remember, lol.

I'm behind in everything today. I don't have enough inventory for my show this weekend and I can tell there are enough hours in this week. Also, caught the headache everyone had yesterday. On a good note I've sold about $750 at one of my gallery/boutiques.

Congrats on all your sales Sue.

Love the Archie pic, Marcus.

Jeanne, in the absence of real advice, I wonder if unplugging the keyboard for a miinute and then plugging it in again might work. A new keyboard must have had a few keys pressed before hookup, should start from a neutral position.

Maybe?

i was 20pgs behind. so here it is.......

Treasure= AWESOME! (and poop deck = ha!)

OH!! CG!!! Ben and I both get those skin cracks in the winter, Ben gets them really bad and they are SO SO painful!! I'm so sorry!! I'm sure you know the only thing that fixes it is a bandaid (which never stays on) and some antibiotic cream. Why can't they design a better bandaid?
------
i use "new skin" liquid bandage. for really bad ones, ointment and bandaids over.. and i concur about the nexcarte bandages. i find that this kind http://www.amazon.com/Nexcare-Waterproof-Assorted-50-Count-Packages/dp/B001CBDLX4/ref=pd_bxgy_hpc_im...
(not necessarliy the waterproof, but the shape) stick THE BEST

ooo! nexcare has this!
http://www.amazon.com/Nexcare-Skin-Crack-fluid-ounces/dp/B0000DH8OW/ref=pd_sim_hpc3
it's the BOMB (in a good way) i used to use that when i cold find it- and i actullay prefer it to the "new skin"

jealous of rachel's battery operated torch lighter.

please highlight ann's post on p. 328 about the scrub brushes. ;o)
