There's a big beautiful moon out this morning. Super frigid. -10 degrees. We can't wait for Wednesday when it's supposed to get up to 22. It will feel like a Florida vacation after this last week!

Ham is baked, black-eyed peas are cooking, shrimp is in the fridge. I'm pretty sure I have everything ready to go. I fear we're going to have way too much food. About 30 people said they were coming. But, it's 21 and windy, so I'm afraid some won't show. Frankly, I don't blame them.

Morning! Happy new year and January. It's 3 here, the auxiliary heat is on in the stupid heat pump and my thermometer inside says 54- ridiculous. I have it set to 67 for day time

Morning. Moving in the right direction here, 4 hours ago it was -20F, now it's -11F, a hopeful sign.

edit, but it is 70F where I'm sitting, glad for that.

Morning. 5F here. Thermostat upstairs and I do not have zoned heating. Needs to be set at 74 to be a bearable 62 downstairs.

It was just me and my 9 year old last night. Ayla fell asleep on the floor with her butt up in the air. Noah fell asleep on the couch. The dh went to bed at 10......

I had a sale sneak in right before midnight last night, making Dec. 50 sales. It was another good month. Now it’s time to do all the tax crap ☹️ My least favorite thing.

And Ayla just wiped her boogers on her Kleenex and casually placed it in my coffee 🙄

It's even going to be cool for Florida this week. Temp started at 61 and it's suppose to drop all day and not get back to 60 for several days and even drop below freezing later in the week.
