the monthly chat thread will go PRIVATE until the link from our profile page is removed- then we will go back to public chatting. Hopefully this will happen soon because it seems almost everyone really wants public chatting and all the benefits that entails, but the link is what is bothersome.
The vote was 17 for private, 9 for public so there was a clear majority.

I posted my RAW for last week late and now need to finish this weeks project.

I am not that happy with this one, but I am needing to work on settings again... I did some backsliding during the holiday season.

So I totally thought I only had sunday monday off from work this week, only to realize that is NEXT week and I actually have sun,mon,tues,weds off! Sweet! I have some pieces on my bench I started last night that I am excited about, so it looks like I will be able to finish them.

Kristie - thanks for posting that link - good reading.

What do you guys think about this for ventilation? I'm going to follow Tim McCreight's plan for a table top tube system. I will drill holes in a PVC pipe, mount it correctly, and attach it to my shop vac.
The other thing that makes more sense to me is to simply create a way to mount the shop vac hose in front of my work space so that it sucks in fumes and particles.
