i just remember my cat is scheduled for surgery tomorrow and we are expecting 15 inches of snow by then. no, i don't think i'll be shoveling my way out at 5am to get her to the vet's by 7am. i'll have to cancel, glad i remembered. sheesh.

thanks cg- those don't look like brushes at all. are the springs attached or do they come off? they woman at rio things a bit of mine has cracked off and that's what's rattling around in there creating the noise at higher speeds.

I think they said to add "chattymetalsmiths" as a tag on some of your items if you want to be in treasuries.
It'll also be used as a tag on the treasuries themselves.
That said, I haven't added it to any of my listings yet...and when I make metal treasuries I just look at the list at the beginning of our threads.

yes it is a new hand piece it's the #20 that came with the kit. I got it new for Christmas. Funny thing is other 3/32 fit- it's just a few of them- all my advantedge fit fine

Sue, those bits are all attached. You'd have to intentionally try with a lot of force to pull the bits apart.

That flat end touches the round commutator and will wear to conform to the commutator diameter. There can be a little sparking but I doubt there are any broken bits floating around.

Let's say taking those out to have a look is about 1% as difficult as finding a vein for an injection....
