Afternoon, all. Glad your son got into the school he wanted, Erin. I've been trying to sort and organize all the jewelry things today. So far, I'm not making stellar progress. How do I manage to create such chaos in such a short amount of time?
Make up kids ball game today and the farm museum is sponsoring a Food Truck Sunday. I am ridiculously excited to see which ones are there and pick something good for lunch before we head to the game. We have zero food trucks where I live so my only experience with them has been on vacations and they are usually really good. Mt fingers are crossed for middle eastern so I can get a good falafel!
Wiring finished is a huge milestone CG, with all those windows(if I remember your window design ) you will light up northern BC.
Not many food trucks here during fall and winter but they all magically appear during festival season . Pretty diverse selection of food and it's much more ehnic than what gets featured in the local restaurants . Same owners run them but they seem to specialize when they run trucks.
Good morning. Congrats, CG. That's quite a big leap forward. When do you think move in will be. The heat is debilitating. In the high 90s with high humidity. Heat index today will be 106. Nonetheless, I'm venturing out to see the local production of Calendar Girls. Don't want to miss a couple of good friends in the nude.😸
I think it's amazing, CG, but I know nothing about wiring a house. :D
Big J goes in to school today for what they call remediation. He has to take his end of grade tests over again in English and Math. Little J is going to orchestra camp over at UNCW. What summer break?
Sounds like no break at all unless Little J wanted orchestra camp? And at least NC makes them take the tests- if you have a kid in Baltimore city schools they graduate them without even being able to read above a 6th grade level- worst schools ever
Good morning. Play was really good. Unfortunately, restaurant afterward was not. It's a long time favorite. The owner/chef retired and the new owners just can't get it right. This was our third try, and will be our last. How can you make a street taco that has no taste whatsoever?
Kit - I saw a local production of calendar girls here locally a few years back and really enjoyed it too. Brave women to act in that. Everyone should see it if they can. Great true story and scripted very cleverly.
CG - did you do the wiring yourself? Talented fellow. My hubs can do some basic wiring like adding an outlet or moving one. Electricity scares the crap out of me. So do power wood saws.
I saw at least 2 different snakes outside today. Both I'm sure weren't poisonous but they still freak me out a little. We've had so much rain I think they are looking for higher ground.
