I'm also not crazy about Tofu....and usually skip it. We'll do either vegetable fried rice or cashew chicken without the chicken if we want to go vegetarian...or just regular cashew chicken. There is an Asian Fusion place close to the office that is amazing! They have a fantastic Tom Ka soup that DH loves and a crepe dish that is my favorite! Lots of options.
DH is not crazy about Indian (he's not a curry fan...I love it).
Good Morning. Slept in. Needed it. We came home around midnight from a cookout. It was fun! I'm off to the feed store for supplies and then the barn to hopefully ride for a little bit before it gets too hot.
It's beginning to feel a lot like summer out there. Thank goodness, thank goodness we got that circuit board problem figured out. I can deal with being cold a lot better than I can broiling in my own house.

So I got to hang out with Rsally and Kim Baxter (the owner of fluxmetalarts), yesterday, that was fun! Of course today is “recover from social interaction day”
I got myself some flowers at Trader Joe's yesterday. They're awful purdy. Sunflowers, a fuzzy green thing that I found out is a dianthus, and some zinnias that are so dark purple they're almost black.
Its really hot here too. Not as hot as Texas and by 10am we get the ocean breeze up which makes a huge difference.
Chrissi - I had forgotten about blister beetles. I remember having to be careful with Alfalfa hay and where it came from because of the blister beetles.
Happy Sunday. The sun is shining. With all the rain and cloud cover we have had for 2 weeks my white lantana which was suppose to look like a carpet of white flowers by my pool has quit blooming & now looks like I neglected to weed. 🤯
Good morning. Went to an art show yesterday in the 102 heat, and the a/c wasn't working well. By the time we got back in the cool car my back was quite damp. Made a wonderful pasta primavera with shrimp last night. Probably gained 5lbs from all the butter and heavy cream. But it was worth it.
