Did some needed garden stuff today.
Monday giblits aplenty.

Need to get a pours worth of waxes shot Mon-Wed.
Add some new stuff in and pour next week if possible.

Susan - , that story was all over the news. Interesting though that they show a photo where the water is rushing so much. On the report I saw on the news they were in a totally different area that looks much less threatening.
Apparently wedding dresses get very very heavy when they are wet and even someone who can swim can drown with such heaviness around them.

Poirot! I was miffed at our public TV channels this summer - they didn't show any Agatha Christie and only two Midsomer Murder episodes. It's tradition, murder mysteries in summer! Hmph.

I'm a cat person too. Cat domestication is so cool when you think about it. A solitary predator chose to live with us humans at some point in the past, and both parts were equal and benefited from each other's qualities and strengths. It's unique. :)

CG, do you really think cats are hunted by wild animals where you live? :( My cats love to be outside. They get frustrated in winter when the snow lies thick, and they will go out despite the cold paws.

Esme - even where I am people lose their cats quite a bit. Often its coyotes, but lots of other animals will take them if they can. Fisher (a type of giant weasel - they are awesome by the way), will take them too.

Not to be gross, but cool gross fact about fisher... they eat brains... like zombies. that's their favorite part of their kill. My neighbor lost all his chickens one night, came out to a gruesome scene... no heads anywhere.

that is possibly too much gore for 6:30 AM EST. Perhaps I should walk out the door and come back in...

Hi All...thanks for inspring me to pop in and post nothing much, CG. :) I always have a lot of nothing much to say...hardly ever something to say!! So there, I've said my nothing much for today!

Hope you all have a fabulous day! I have lots of wedding bands to finish up today and I'm TRYING so hard to get pieces done for my two shows in September...the only 2 shows I will be doing this year area back-to-back weekends in September. Such crappy timing! :(

yes me too. sometimes it isn't. yesterday, for example, was really busy, but this lady who is really high maintenance came in with a really lovely and generous gift for me which made my day :) so, ya never know.

Esme, cats do disappar from next door, and they're not walking away.. Mostly coyotes, but occasionally I'll see evidence in the snow of owls (in the trees) taking hares.
