Morning! Happy August! I decided to take the rest of the week off. There was nothing pressing at work, so why would I be there? :)

Jaime seems busy with her shop. I hope she will stop by for a longer visit soon.

I have some sales dust to share for the morning peeps. Three willow rings and a fern ring.

mainly playing around trying some new things. 1 turned out ok, the other not so much. I'll post pics later. Also realized I left a ring in the pickle (luckily copper) for like a week. oops.

Morning all! Was catching up on the July thread and saw that it was closed. My first thought was Ok, who was bad and got the thread closed....then realized that it's August already. Gotta love being retired and losing track of the date :) :) :)

Taking dh to the airport later this morning. He'll be out of town for a week. Was it wrong of me to tell him I was looking forward to my vacation? :) :) :) Will miss him, but have a ton of things to try to get accomplished when he's gone.

Good morning- happy August- my vacation is getting closer and closer!!!

Congrats on the sales Esme- what a way to end up the month- 3 rings- and a very good reason to take off the rest of the week!

So I got a sad return convo last night. I worked with a lovely customer over several weeks who wanted to create a 3 stone ring for a gift for her sister. She finally decided got the ring and loved it. Said she gave it to her sister, who had seen pix in my shop of the 3 stone ring original, but she said- these stones are too small and the ring isn't substantial enough- send it back! Wasn't there just someone in July who had that happen? I just can't imagine a sister doing that. The poor girl is apologizing to me over having to return knowing she will have a restocking fee. I feel awful for her.
