Hi! Everyone I'm Kelly from Indonesia. I feel like i'm a self-taught artist. what I like to do with my art is someting strange like using wood as a arm and anything about it but with a concept. I also do music, but maybe first I need to be a etsy seller first so I can make my own home-recording if I already could afford it. that's all about me. thank you ♥︎
@Keluhart100 WELCOME TO THE ART TEAM KELLY! We're so happy you're here! And so excited to see all your eclectic creations!

Hello,
I'm Monica and my shop is MOJPodge Creations. I live in the Black Hills of South Dakota. I took a class on making hammered jewelry and it's the one hobby that has stuck for me. I opened my shop in January and have had a couple sales. I'm hoping to find ways to sell locally too.
@MOJPodgeCreations WELCOME TO THE ART TEAM MONICA! Right now, the best thing you can do is to just keep making. More jewelry = more traffic = more sales. Once the holiday season arrives (October - December), it will be about sharing your creations with customers and shipping them out.

I do graphics on POD t-shirts having only just started in June 2023 its been a steep learning curve and now im trying to get my head around facebook/instagram/pinterest etc. Am always happy to chat.
Hi, Hazel ~

@SheCurves WELCOME TO THE ART TEAM HAZEL! We're glad you're hear. We need all the positive people we can get. And we're always learning something new here. Once we figure it out; everything changes. haha
Hello everyone and thanks Mike for inviting me!
I'm new here on Etsy. Just opened my shop a few days ago. I'm intending to sell instant download art prints. I'm a former language teacher from Sweden, but I'm currently working as a publisher at one of Sweden's biggest publishers, where I'm responsible for our foreign language textbooks.
Since I was a child, I've always been drawing, sketching, painting, and creating things with my hands. I've been selling physical abstract mixed media paintings in my free time for numerous years now, but since I started working as a publisher, I've learned more about graphic design and how to create digital illustrations.
I'm constantly publishing illustrations through my work (for free). This has led me to create digital designs in my free time as well. So, when I learned that people are actually interested in buying digital items, I thought I should give it a go. I am aware that the competition is HUGE, but if I'm illustrating anyway, why shouldn't I try to sell my work? Well, that's why I'm here.
I am also a mother of two: a thirteen-year-old boy (who's also drawing a lot and actually published his first work with me when he was 12) and an eleven-year-old girl. She is more active and very athletic and doesn't like to "pyssla" as we say in Swedish, that is, doing arts and crafts activities. I'm originally from Sweden, but I'm married to a Venezuelan/Spanish man who's also the father of my kids (that's why my last name is De Matos). Apart from Swedish and English, I speak Spanish and a little Italian and basic French. So, it would be fun if you ever wanted to reach out, to do it in any of these languages. I really, really want to improve my Italian and French.
Finally, I would be very, very glad if you would like to visit my shop. I'm pretending to scroll through yours now.
All the best, Anna
@NancyMajArt WELCOME TO THE ART TEAM NANCY! Love your work. And what a wonderful journey you're on. And you're very skilled with language. Keep up the great work!
Thanks for the invite! I am honoured and humbled to be included in a group of obviously talented and creative artists. My shop is relatively new and I am working hard to add more products that will inspire others to create awesome products for their customers.
My background is as a Full Stack Web Developer. While that kind of work is very technical and formative, my heart has always been with the Visual Arts. I am also deeply connected to music and perform as a band leader in musical theatre that brings families together to act and sing.
I live in an area in rural Canada that is surrounded by trees and lakes. Some of what I create takes inspiration from my surroundings and other creations are inspired by the beauty of complex geometry. My hopes are that my creations foment thoughtful conversation about the mystery and beauty of the world around us.
I am excited to be a new member of this group and look forward to making friends and seeing what all you wonderfully creative people come up with!

Your work is beautiful.
@eyecreateartoneofone WELCOME TO THE ART TEAM! We're so happy you're here! Technical skills and creativity are a powerful combination. And there are a lot of nature lovers here. So, excited to see the beauty you share with us
Hi, I'm new to this team via Mike's invite; Thanks Mike!
Been on Etsy since 2010, and my shop evolved towards book arts from my experience as a docent @ an Asian Art Museum. Found Asian arts to have a depth of symbolism, which required further exploration as part of my education to better my museum tours. Making my own handmade pocket sized Museum resource topic books for each Asian Gallery, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean, really helped my understanding and ability to share that knowledge with a range of folks of all ages while on my tours. At the same time discovering all the wonderful handmade, artisanal and archival paper/fiber art supplies to enrich this understanding further in my creation of book arts. As a fiber artist, book binding / book arts, was a natural offshoot to add to my skillset.
I'm of Italian/American descent, having been born in South Philadelphia's little Italy. So, I do sprinkle in a bit of my own culture and background into the creative mix. I have lived in the Midwest, California and currently in the Pacific Northwest for nearly 50 years now, yet still haven't shaken my Delco Accent, amazingly! So, I've developed a good sense of humor along the way.
Glad to be here. I'm looking forward to being part of this team & getting to know my fellow artists here, particularly any of you who live in and around Eugene Oregon.
@eyecreateartoneofone and others, Thanks for your welcoming 'likes' of my intro statement to this group. Birds of a feather...on the Art Team! Yep, I can geek out w/the best of them when it comes to fractal patterns, devine geometry etc.
Fav'd your 5th Hilbert Wave, as it reminds me of a Korean Amulet, "Yeonhwan Pattern" often found in Korean architecture, Symbolizing: Auspiicious Continuity, resilience and perfection. See lifeinKorea.com (symbols) if you wish to reference.
When I taught art to kids @ the museum studio space, I re-introduced them to the Fibonacci sequence as it is found in nature's designs, demonstrating how the "rule of thirds" could also be found in much of the museum's art. Was really fun to see 2nd graders catch on / light up to such a universal design theme, making their own Fibonacci Phi spirals on grid paper. Then making zentangle sketches of floral Phi angles / Lucas angles and thier own abstract pattern creations.
In my about section: You'll find in the photo array a weaving of mine w/a circular Smith chart Mandala. An engineering anachronism from the 40's, 50s!
@Marpet3425 I geeked out on your loom. There is something so magical in the arts regardless of discipline. Inspiration is everywhere and any time.
I read your about section and realized I was reading the writing of a storyteller. My world is full of storytellers. My fav people.
@Marpet3425 WELCOME TO THE ART TEAM! We're excited you're here. Asian art is amazing, right? It allows your imagination to wander. The use of empty space and surprise. And it sounds like you've been on an amazing adventure as you've made your way from one side of the continent to the other. We're looking forward to helping each other
