Hello everyone,
I'm Chagatai, born in 1991, and originally a mechanical engineer. While studying engineering, I developed a strong passion for machine designs, and that love eventually evolved into a passion for design itself. Design and creativity have always been a part of my life. Later, I attended software and coding academies to merge my design knowledge with the digital world. I used to create various designs as a hobby.
At the beginning of this year, I discovered that I could sell digital products on Etsy, and since then, I've been uploading different designs to my shop. I share useful, elegant, and minimalist designs for home and office walls. I'm still learning the ropes of Etsy and working hard to fix any mistakes I make.
Today, Mike invited me to this group, and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to meet all of you. Thanks a lot, Mike
I wish everyone here plenty of sales in advance.
Warm regards, Chagatai

@eyecreateartoneofone Thank you for your kind words and acknowledgement as a fellow artist / storyteller. I see that @ChagataiArtPrints is also another geeky designer / engineer! Takes all kinds, doesn't it?
That weaving was hanging in Portland Oregon @ the biennial 1996 "Convergence" Show sponsored by the American Handweaver's Guild. During the month that it hung in PDX, I sat by my father's side @ Princeton Hospital during what were to be his last days. When I first arrived in New Jersey, he had only recently regained consciousness... He kept asking me "has our weaving won yet?" I had to explain that the win was getting into an internationally juried show; that it was about the process in the gift of the journey. And indeed it was, both of ours as we discovered and found acceptance and loving closure w/each other, before he sent me home to get back to my life and job. So he could leave his, promptly passing 10 days after my return home.
It was magical, the endowment of gifts we were able to share in each other's lives. The very definition of the creativity and generativity of love that is artistic / scientific expression. He was posthumously fellowshipped into the AIAA American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics.
Hello everyone,
I am Silla, I live in Florida and I make a variety of different art. I'm new to Etsy, but I've been an artist with Redbubble for a few years. I'm a Premium artist on their platform (which mostly means, I get regular sales and I make original art). Through their partner's program, I've been really lucky to be able to produce license-inspired art. Because I am keeping them as a vendor for those types of products, I'm cross-posting them here. Otherwise, I go to school full-time and work full-time in a promotional operations role at WdW (I intentionally DO NOT make any art affiliated with them, as it would be owned by them per my employment sadly). It's nice to be a part of a team with other artists! I am excited to be here!
@Manikato WELCOME TO THE ART TEAM SILLA! We're so happy you're here. And you have a lot of fun creations. We'll looking forward to helping each other find success!
Hello everyone,
I was born in 1992 in Antalya, Turkey. Because of my interest in dolls when I was little, I loved making changes on them. I first started making my art dolls in 2013. I usually make my works from air-drying clay. I love expressing my feelings through my art dolls and giving them an original look.
Thanks for inviting me to this group.
@DesdemonaDollArt WELCOME TO THE ART TEAM! We so glad to see you. Your dolls are amazing. And we're very excited to see what you create next!

Hello Art Team. My name is Casey. I just opened my art shop CDeltart (CDeltart.etsy.com) in June of 2023. I currently live in Utah, USA. I hand draw my designs in a digital illustration platform. I am self-taught in traditional art medium such as graphite, acrylic, and watercolor. Digital illustration has been a new venture for me, since becoming a mom. Artists that inspire me include Monet and Vincent Van Gogh. I am also working on music artist inspired pieces. Right now, I am playing around with products and designs to figure out what kind of art niche people respond well too. My art has a raw quality to it, where it feels like it is still being created and is not quite finished. I enjoy bringing a sense of being a part of the art process to the final piece. I am new to Etsy, so happy to take suggestions or advice. Thanks!
@CDeltart WELCOME TO THE ART TEAM CASEY! We're so happy you're here. Sounds like you're on a start of a great journey. And we're excite to join you.
My name is Amber Severn. I recently just opened up my digital product shop on Etsy. I’ve always loved being creative and making things either on the computer or at my house. My kids love doing things as well. I recently got into doing something like this and trying to sell on Etsy because the way the economy is anymore and how prices have gone through the roof. I have 3 kids all a little older, and am lucky enough to be able to stay at home and watch them grow up. Recently with the way everything is going we are having a lot of financial issues so that is why I decided to try this and make an extra income for my family. I just want to get to a point where we no longer have to live paycheck to paycheck every week. And be able to afford the stuff my kiddos want and deserve. Anyways it’s nice to meet all of you and looking forward to seeing everything

Hi, everyone ~ I'm a relative newbie to Etsy with a food related product and am wondering....is the end of July and August normally slow??
Happy to be part of the forum and look forward to any positive input which should be helpful to us all
Thank you!
Sherry @texyjay.Etsy.com
@texyjay This is historically a very slow time of year. Major retailers are focusing on Back To School and Halloween right now. I expect most holiday sales activities to occur a month earlier this year with ongoing supply/labor issues. So, you'll probably notice a pick up in activity at the end of August. And continued growing activity through December.
Thanks so much Mike, there's so much great info and support here already! I look forward to meeting my fellow Etsy artists and learning from eachother, sharing inspo. I'm a contemporary Australian painter of what I call 'cosy pockets of wilderness'. Hoping my art will help some people reconnect with the wild at soul level - we protect what we love! I list large works of 1 metre or so, all the way down to original miniature art and small framed works. I'd love for Art Team members to drop in and check it out. x Victoria

Hello everyone! I am from sunny California and just joined Etsy about a month ago. I love people and have always had a passion for understanding and listening to other people's lives, which is the partial driver of creating my shop.
