Keep track of inventory/expenses?

How do you all keep track of your inventory, expenses, sales? Right now I am using Excel and spreadsheets. It works, but I'm wondering if there is something better?

I use excel too... I would be curious if there is something just for jewelers,but excel seems to get the job done.

I use excel to keep track of sales, income and expenses & expenditures but not really inventory. I have just about everything I've got made on etsy and as I run low on something I put it on a list. When I get enough on the list I order.

Does anyone here use Bead Manager Pro software? Thinking of purchasing, would love to hear opinions of anyone using it.

I have Bead Manager Pro. It works great if you have time for it. I don't have time for that nor an Excel Spreadsheet. But, I do recommend it!

I wonder if there is a way to import existing excel to bead pro, is it a apple app or software from the web?

I use Excel too. I have a huge bead inventory listed out then I have my finished product inventory that I keep track of. I even use Excel to help me price my pieces. I made this cost calculator that takes all my supplies, time, overhead, and markup to give me both a wholesale and a retail cost. The only problem with it is time! Other than that it works great. I think time is going to be an issue anytime you have to keep inventory though. Just think of all the Wal-Mart employees! They have zillions to keep track of all their inventory.

OOOH I am absolutely terrible at this !! I do absolutely nothing to keep up with my expenses at the moment.. Reading this is really inspiring me to do so .. thanks for posting this !

I use Excel. I'd like to try the Bead Mgr Pro, but don't have the money to invest. If you want it, I think Magpie Gemstones is still having a sale on it. Think.
But I have one spread sheet for inventory, one for shows and fees and sales and taxes, one for finished product.
