I remeber there was another wanelo group that did the same thing. I think the problem a lot of their users ran into was Wanelo flagging their accounts because all of a sudden a certain set of people would save the item. And If my memory serves me right some of them were contacted by Wanelo regarding this.

Has this changed or anyone else remember this?

I was in another team that was similar to this one and never had a problem with it, I think Wanelo must have changed their rules, I think its so much more gradual throughout the day with people being on at different times, it also depends on how many followers everyone has so it helps the more followers you have because of the whole networking aspect of it and who sees it.

I haven't been involved in anything like this before. Could someone kindly explain what I'm supposed to do?

Leil and Marc,

What you want to do is go to http://wanelo.com.

Create an account, with facebook or your email.

Then you want to edit your profile just like any other social media, add a photo, bio, website, etc.

After that hit the POST+ button at the top, take your link from one of your etsy items and hit Post, after that it will bring up a picture of your product, the title and a box to comment in, in the comment box just post tags like you would for your product.

It will then have a place to choose a category, they have only 6 categories, if none of them make sense for your product just choose one that is close and hit the Save button.

After that just copy the link at the top and that is now your link to share it with others.

Your etsy link would be that same item you posted to Wanelo but it would be from Etsy, just go to the item and at the top copy your link from the bar and paste it here and it makes a cool little box with a picture of your item and info.

Juli, yes that is all you have to do, then you would copy the link to the item you posted and paste it here in one of the Daily Threads, not this one but if you look at the Teams discussions you will easily find a Daily Trending thread to post in, just read the rules there and you will be set.

Oh just thought of another one, if you are using wanelo as a promotional tool, is it better to stick to just posting your own items, or should you intersperse other complimentary items that work with your product, (say dresses in my case as I sell jewellery) around them to build a brand image and try to inspire people to build outfits around your product?

I have a question, on Wanelo, how can people re-save products from me if they are not following me? For example, I saved a pair of shoes and had 50,100 people or so save it from me, but I only have 25 followers?

lwiggins24 - anyone can see the products you save. So when someone else saves one of your saved products, all their followers see that they saved it, too, etc. So it kind of grows even though most of the people who save the products aren't actually your own followers. Does that make sense?

I have a question about using hashtags. I am new to Wanelo and also new to using Hashtags. I know wanelo uses them, but would it look to much like I am trying to force my product onto buyers? My items are just not getting found in the wanelo search.

Hey,
I am new to Wanelo and I have a problem.
Each of my prints on etsy have 4 prices depending on size. When I post a link to the product on Wanelo, it makes only one price (the lowest, so in my case it's only A4 format). Is there a way to make Wanelo include all 4 prices so user can pick one (like on Etsy)?
I also tried to write "$12 - $25" in the price box, but it won't let me. :(
